| MHC Automation | Legacy | MHC AP Invoice Automation | AP Automation | ERP Financial Management | n/a | 2007 | 2007 |
In 2007, CoxHealth implemented MHC AP Invoice Automation to automate accounts payable across its six-hospital system in Missouri. The deployment was designed to handle roughly 245,000 invoices per year, positioning the MHC AP Invoice Automation application within the AP Automation category to support finance, payroll, and tax documentation workflows.
The implementation included automated invoice capture and document imaging, check printing capabilities, and configurable routing and approvals to streamline invoice lifecycles. MHC AP Invoice Automation was configured to digitize tax and payroll documentation and to enforce electronic approval workflows, aligning with standard AP Automation functional patterns for invoice processing and payment orchestration.
The solution integrated with CoxHealth's ERP to improve routing and approvals and to synchronize invoice and payment data with core financial ledgers. Operational coverage extended across accounts payable, payroll, and finance teams at all six hospitals, enabling centralized document imaging and systemized check printing across the health system.
Governance changes accompanied the rollout to formalize approval paths and archive controls, shifting manual paper handling toward electronic processing. The program freed AP staff for higher-value work and increased scalability and productivity across the system, outcomes reported as part of CoxHealth's engagement with MHC Automation.

| Spark Hire | Legacy | Spark Hire Video Interview | Video Interviewing | HCM | n/a | 2016 | 2016 |
In 2016, CoxHealth implemented Spark Hire Video Interview to introduce Video Interviewing across its six-hospital system and affiliated clinics. CoxHealth is a regional health system in southwest Missouri with six hospitals, more than 80 clinics, five emergency departments, and over 12,500 employees, and the deployment targeted recruiting and hiring leader workflows to accelerate candidate screening and increase visibility of applicant interviews across hiring teams.
The implementation emphasized asynchronous one-way video interviews as the core capability, alongside account-managed onboarding, reusable interview templates, and applicant support resources. Spark Hire Video Interview was configured to be user-friendly for applicants, recruiters, and hiring leaders, and the vendor’s account managers provided training and retraining, plus ready-made templates to speed configuration and adoption across multiple departments.
Operational use covered recruiters and hiring leaders systemwide, replacing time-consuming phone pre-screens and supplementing in-person interviews by enabling sharing of recorded candidate interviews with additional decision makers. CoxHealth had previously used Skype for ad hoc video calls, and the Spark Hire deployment introduced a purpose-built Video Interviewing platform that supported candidate self-paced pre-screening and continuity of hiring during periods when in-person interviewing was suspended.
Governance focused on centralized training, standard interview templates, and ongoing vendor-supported enablement to drive consistent interviewer experience and candidate support. The rollout prioritized rapid onboarding and systemwide adoption, with qualitative outcomes including faster pre-screening workflows, broader hiring leader collaboration, and continuity of interviewing during pandemic-related constraints.
