In 2011, Cunningham Telephone & Cable implemented ZCorum to strengthen OSS/BSS capabilities for DOCSIS network diagnostics and field operations across its Kansas service territory. The deployment of ZCorum was positioned to support network operations and service assurance functions, providing centralized visibility into modem and CMTS performance for operations and field teams. The initial implementation used ZCorum TruVizion diagnostics to instrument DOCSIS modem and CMTS telemetry, and the operator later adopted ZCorum PreEqualization Analyzer PNM tool to extend passive network monitoring. TruVizion delivered per-modem and per-CMTS diagnostics while the PreEqualization Analyzer PNM tool added PNM-specific fault isolation capabilities, enabling technicians to pinpoint previously elusive impairments. Operationally the ZCorum implementation covered the US region deployment focused on Cunningham Telephone & Cable's Kansas footprint, and it was consumed by network operations and field maintenance workflows. Rollout occurred in phases, diagnostics first followed by PNM adoption, and the combined ZCorum solution reduced unnecessary truck rolls and sped troubleshooting and repair times by surfacing root causes ahead of dispatch.
