In 2012, Curtiss-Wright implemented SAP ERP ECC 6.0 as its ERP Financial platform to centralize payroll, time management, personnel administration, and organizational management processes. The ECC 6.0 Implementation and Technical Support engagement covered Time Management, Payroll, Organizational Management, and Personnel Administration modules and established SAP ERP ECC 6.0 as the primary ERP Financial system for HR and payroll operations.
Payroll configuration work included creating, configuring, and maintaining wage types, taxes, partial period remuneration, processing classes, evaluation classes, processing time data, payments and deductions, schemas, PCRs, functions, and benefits. The implementation delivered Payroll PY integration with FICO for postings to accounting, third party remittances, off-cycle processing, and reporting, and it included configuration of payroll control records, date modifiers, period modifiers, generated payroll periods, and assignment of wage types to symbolic accounts using RPCIPE0 and subsequent posting activities. Pay scale structure and features were configured, including pay scale type, area, group and levels, and features ABKRS, LGMST, and TARIF for default payroll area, wage types, and pay scale defaults, plus creation of recurring and additional payment wage types and wage type catalogs and models.
Time Management configuration covered schemas, PCRs, work schedules, personnel time events, time evaluation, time recording including substitutions and absences, absence counting, absence quotas, leave entitlement, overtime, availability, counting rules, and deduction rules. Work schedules were created at daily and periodic levels with break schedules and work schedule rules, and Time Management infotypes such as IT2001, IT2002, IT2003, IT2006, IT2007, IT2011, and IT2012 were configured and maintained. The project defined client specific day types, created absence types including casual sick and annual leave with quotas, established generation rules and features SCHKZ and TMSTA, and created wage types for remuneration, leave entitlement, compensatory off, and overtime.
Personnel Administration and Organizational Management work included creation of a new enterprise structure and a new personnel structure from administrative and organizational perspectives, configuration of personnel area groupings and employee groupings with assignment of Personnel Area to Company Code, and configuration of personnel calculation rule groupings. The team performed standard personnel actions such as hiring, organizational reassignment, and pay changes, created custom infotypes with subtypes using PM01, set up dynamic actions to generate system defaults, and integrated OM with PA using RHINTE10, RHINTE20, and RHINTE30 to synchronize organizational data with personnel administration.
Governance and rollout artifacts included preparation of functional specifications and business process documentation to guide ABAP development and end user instruction, As Is and To Be process definitions with gap analysis, training delivery and elaboration guidance and documentation, and operational troubleshooting for payroll and time evaluation issues with recommendations for resolution. The engagement also supported year end tax activities and configured Record of Employment printing and related payroll accounting setups, delivering technical support and operational documentation to sustain SAP ERP ECC 6.0 as Curtiss-Wright ERP Financial for HR and payroll functions.

| Workday | Legacy | Workday Absence Management | Absence and Leave Management | HCM | n/a | 2022 | 2023 |
In 2022, Curtiss-Wright implemented Workday Absence Management to centralize absence and leave workflows for the Target Rock site in New York. The deployment of Workday Absence Management sits alongside active use of Workday onboarding and time tracking tasks, and it is positioned to support Office Administrators, HR staff, managers, and employee populations including interns and shop floor staff at the New York facility, aligning with the Absence and Leave Management application category.
Configuration work focused on standard absence plan and leave type setup, manager and employee self-service request and approval flows, and role-based absence tasking within Workday Absence Management. Operational users guide new hires through Workday onboarding tasks, manage timecards and absence entries in Workday, and create and maintain job requisitions inside Workday as part of a broader HR operational model.
Operational integration remains partly manual and data-aligned, team members enter new hire, title, manager, rate, and termination changes into Oracle and have initiated a project to reconcile Oracle employee records with current headcount reports. The deployment also interacts with internal identity and access processes, with staff assisting managers and employees on CWCIAM access issues and coordinating One Call Now alerts and Dynafile records as part of absence and onsite communication procedures.
Governance and process changes include establishing an internal approval flow for new and backfill requisitions, maintaining a centralized new hire spreadsheet and recurring safety and review schedules, and tracking completion of onboarding surveys and 180 day reviews. Workday Absence Management is embedded into these operational workflows rather than operating in isolation, enabling HR to standardize leave administration, support payroll and timecard activities, and manage exit interviews and promotions through coordinated procedural controls.

| SYSPRO | Legacy | Syspro Manufacturing ERP | Manufacturing ERP | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2019 | 2020 |
In 2019 Curtiss-Wright implemented Syspro Manufacturing ERP as a central Manufacturing ERP platform to support reporting and operational data flows. The Syspro Manufacturing ERP deployment served as a primary data source for Management, Accounting, and Area Sales Managers and was used to underpin regular and ad hoc business reporting.
Operational usage focused on extraction and transformation of Syspro system data using SQL Server Management Studio and Microsoft Access, enabling the generation of monthly and ad hoc reports covering Monthly Metrics, Sales/Booked, Industrial Info Resources comparisons, Nuclear, New Builds, Top Customers, Navy, and Must Wins. The implementation supported production of bi-weekly Booked KPI charts and routine management dashboards derived from Syspro Manufacturing ERP data.
The Syspro data stream was staged and distributed via SharePoint sites and libraries to store monthly reports and training documentation, and reporting workflows referenced external datasets such as Industrial Info Resources. Administrative responsibilities included MS Dynamics CRM administration for the Sales group, with basic updates and training guides produced internally and coordination with an external vendor for advanced CRM changes, creating an operational linkage between ERP reporting and CRM processes at Curtiss-Wright EST Hatfield, PA.
Governance and operationalization emphasized documentation and knowledge transfer, with SharePoint-based libraries, training guides, and a formal cadence for bi-weekly KPI publication and ad hoc reporting requests. Day-to-day ownership resided with the business intelligence and sales administration functions, which structured report distribution and maintained the Syspro Manufacturing ERP reporting artifacts.
