In 2011, Cuscal Limited implemented Infor SunSystems. The initiative positioned Infor SunSystems as the organization's ERP Financial application to consolidate finance workflows supporting the Cards and Business Division and broader payments functions.
The implementation emphasized General Ledger integration, with a completed File Specification for SUN General Ledger integration and detailed message specifications. Configuration work focused on finance transactional processing and interfacing, and deliverables included User Stories and Acceptance Criteria authored using Agile SCRUM practices to drive development and testing cycles.
Integrations were documented to support digital banking and payments channels, including Interface Specifications for three critical APIs for the Digital Bank and one specifically for NPP transaction data, plus interface specifications for a prepaid switching capability. The project artifacts and analyst work referenced BPAY, DE payments, and working knowledge of Authentic Switch and basics of Postilion, indicating close alignment between Infor SunSystems financial data flows and external payments rails.
Governance and rollout practices were formalized through Business Requirements Documents, traceability matrices, Scope Statements with customer sign off, gap analysis to define future state, and estimates gathered from testing, development, architecture and support teams for management decisions. Stakeholder management was active across Product and Account Management, solution design, development and test teams, and business workshops were used to elicit requirements and resolve issues during testing and production analysis.

In 2015 Cuscal Limited implemented SAP BusinessObjects as its Analytics and BI platform to centralize reporting for its payments business. Cuscal is Australia's independent provider of payment solutions including card and acquiring products, mobile payments, fraud prevention, EFT switching and direct entry, and the SAP BusinessObjects deployment supported analytics and reporting for those payments operations.
The implementation centered on SAP BusinessObjects 4.1 with Crystal Reports 2011 for report design and SAP Data Services for ETL, reflecting an Analytics and BI configuration. Operational responsibilities included end to end administration of SAP BO 4.1, creation of Crystal Reports 2011 reports and publications, design and review of jobs in SAP Data Services Designer, monitoring jobs in the Data Services Management Console, and daily schedule monitoring with reruns of failed jobs.
Data integration work included data extraction from the Legacy system and requirements analysis to feed SAP Data Services jobs, while reporting service databases were managed on ORACLE 11g as part of the application DBA scope. The team worked closely with IT OPS to diagnose reporting and database issues, and RFCs were reviewed and implemented in production after testing, providing an integration and operational continuity layer for Analytics and BI reporting.
Governance and change control were enforced using Life Cycle Management services for SAP BusinessObjects, with formal RFC review and production implementation processes. The environment supported project delivery for Apple Pay and Android Pay, where the team tested, deployed and continues to support BO publications and Crystal reports, and the Apple Pay engagement is noted as successfully delivered with ongoing enhancements and post go live support.

In 2017, Cuscal Limited implemented Atlassian Confluence as a Collaboration platform to centralize documentation and knowledge management for its Risk, Treasury, and Project Management practices. The deployment positioned Atlassian Confluence as the primary wiki and policy repository used to capture regulatory guidance, risk policies, and valuation templates across the organization.
Confluence was configured with role based spaces and page templates to support valuation templates for Treasury products, compliance checklists, and project workstream documentation. The implementation connected content to the project lifecycle by working alongside Jira, and was used in conjunction with Visual Studio and Clarity PPM in project forums, enabling traceability between requirements, issues, and documentation. Search, attachment management, and templated pages were applied to standardize documentation and accelerate information retrieval for the Risk and Compliance practice.
Governance was structured through designated SPOC and SME responsibilities, with the Risk department representing Confluence requirements at project working groups and in both waterfall and Agile delivery models. Process improvements and adoption of Confluence authored templates supported productivity gains in the treasury and risk areas, and these contributions were recognized internally with a Partnership Award and an Energy Award. Atlassian Confluence became the central Collaboration layer for policy governance, knowledge capture, and cross functional project coordination at Cuscal Limited.
