In 2016 Darty implemented Kofax ReadSoft Online to standardize invoice capture and processing as part of its AP Automation efforts. The work sat inside broader IS transformation and business project governance covering Finance, HR and the financial management perimeter, and was supported by a central team of 12 people plus TMA for ongoing application maintenance.
Kofax ReadSoft Online was configured to provide cloud invoice capture, OCR data extraction, data validation, automated approval workflows and exception handling aligned to accounts payable control points. Configuration included PO matching logic and validation rules to enforce invoice header and line level reconciliation before posting to financial systems, reflecting typical AP Automation functional taxonomy.
The implementation integrated invoice outputs with SAP MM SD FI CO AA modules, and was linked to existing document processing tooling identified as PD AP from Readsoft Lexmark, as well as mainframe feeds, HR Access and Hyperion for downstream reporting and financial consolidation processes. Integration work focused on reliable transfer of validated invoice data into SAP posting interfaces and on feeding Hyperion for financial reporting use cases.
Governance and rollout were managed by the IS transformation program with finance process owners leading acceptance and workflow design. Operational handover included TMA arrangements for application support, defined validation and exception management procedures for accounts payable teams, and centralized change control for future configuration updates to Kofax ReadSoft Online.

Process changes consolidated payroll job streams across finance and HR functions, establishing formal approval workflows, audit trails, and periodic payroll reconciliation procedures. The rollout emphasized centralized payroll operations to standardize payroll execution and compliance activities.
The ADP Payroll implementation touched HR, payroll operations, and finance business functions, and the ADP Payroll application was used as the authoritative payroll processing platform. Ongoing administration remains under the Payroll Manager with documented configuration settings and governance controls.

Operational coverage focused on merchandising, purchasing and replenishment business functions, with implementation and support activities conducted from Dartys Ivry-sur-Seine site in Île-de-France. The application supported user support and production operations workflows, reflecting a centralized application footprint within Dartys Retail Management layer.
Governance and runbook responsibilities were handled by assigned project and engineering staff, including roles described as Chef de projet and Ingénieur Etudes et Développement, who performed analysis, specifications, developments, tests, corrections, and both user and production support. Reporting and operational monitoring used Actuate e.Report Designer alongside standard Oracle development tools to maintain functional continuity of the Oracle RMS merchandising and procurement solution.
