| Fadata | Legacy | INSIS Platform Policy Administration | Insurance Policy Administration | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2019 | 2019 |
In 2019, DELA implemented INSIS Platform Policy Administration from Fadata within its Insurance Policy Administration landscape. The deployment focused on core policy administration and back-office processing for the DELA Insurance Division, aligning the application to the insurer s operational administration needs.
The implementation followed a formal selection and design sequence that included requirements gathering, an RfP, supplier demonstrations, deep dives and a mini proof of concept, activities driven by internal solution architecture and business analysis. Configuration work emphasized policy lifecycle management, contract administration, rating logic and document generation, reflecting standard Insurance Policy Administration functional workflows.
Charles Taylor InsureTech served as the implementation partner and facilitated workshops where DELA business analysts represented the Insurance Division, validated detailed requirements and recorded agreed decisions. Integration efforts concentrated on orchestrating INSIS Platform Policy Administration with existing administrative processes and operational systems, while governance relied on workshop outputs and decision tracking to control scope and design signoff.
Operational coverage targeted DELA s Insurance Division in the Netherlands and was scoped to support the organization s full policy inventory as referenced during the selection phase, including an expected 2.5 million policies. Project governance combined RfP artifacts, PoC findings and workshop approvals to structure configuration signoff and phased rollout planning.

The implementation targeted Process Mining capabilities to deliver end to end process visibility across customer service and funeral operations in the Netherlands, and Alfo Melisse, CIO, led the initiative as part of a broader strategic transformation.
Mavim ProcessVerse Mining was configured to perform process discovery, event log analysis, conformance checking, and customer journey mapping, aligning process artifacts with DELA's compliance controls and operational workflows. The deployment emphasized visualization of bottlenecks, handoffs, and decision points to enable governance review and process standardization, consistent with Process Mining functional terminology.
Operational scope focused on customer service functions and funeral insurance administration, with design and rollout organized to respect the extensive regulatory and internal control requirements in DELA's IT landscape. Working with Mavim enabled DELA to continue meeting strategic transformation objectives while maintaining control compliance, and DELA reached twice the customer satisfaction score they set as their goal for this year.
