Governance and role configuration placed the Accountant as administrator for the Cooperative's accounts payable software and corporate credit card program, with oversight from the Manager of Accounting, Controller, and CFO. The deployment emphasized written institutional knowledge of accounting and financing procedures, alignment with GAAP and Cooperative policy, and development of NISC iVue system expertise to identify automation opportunities in accounting business solutions. The NISC ABS deployment covered Delaware Electric Cooperative's Greenwood, Delaware site and supports day to day accounting functions, audit preparation, management and third party reporting, and cross functional collaboration with Information Technology to develop KPI reporting and action analytics.
