Functional workstreams included localization of the general ledger structure, development of regulatory reporting requirements, and trading desk reporting requirements, with the SAP S/4 HANA implementation scoped to handle GL consolidation and financial accounting workflows consistent with an ERP Financial deployment.
The implementation required close collaboration with traders and controllers to translate front office exposure and position needs into reporting specifications, and to align UAT scenarios with trading and control workflows. Integration efforts emphasized aligning reporting outputs and GL mappings with the trading desk and controller business functions, and organizing end to end test plans for user acceptance testing.
Governance was operated through the global PMO in Singapore, with project status management and reporting performed by the SAP Project Manager in New York. The project produced detailed functional requirements, configured localization and regulatory reporting, and produced test plans for UAT, all intended to enable more timely risk and exposure visibility within the SAP S/4 HANA ERP Financial environment.
