| SAP | SAP ERP ECC 6.0 | SAP S/4 HANA | ERP Financial | ERP | n/a | 2019 | 2019 |
dnata Singapore in 2019 selected and migrated its core ERP from SAP ERP ECC 6.0 (EHP0) to SAP S/4HANA as the new ERP Financial application. The implementation converted legacy ERP workloads to an S/4HANA architecture and aligned finance and core ERP processes with a broader IT transformation that emphasized enterprise-wide information, vendor rationalization, and retirement of redundant systems. The S/4HANA deployment was executed with a cloud-first orientation: key systems were transitioned to Microsoft Azure and integrated with a planned, organization-wide digital commerce platform to unify transactional and financial data flows across markets.
The program was structured as an enterprise transformation rather than a point upgrade, led by a regional team of more than 20 resources and managed within a $5M OPEX envelope. Activities included re‑engineering IT infrastructure and team organization, consolidating vendors, retiring fragmented legacy systems, and migrating workloads to the cloud. The initiative produced explicit cost outcomes cited by the buyer: nearly $7M in enterprise savings from rationalization and cloud transition and approximately $1M in direct infrastructure savings. Governance, technology road‑mapping, and closer alignment between IT and the C‑suite were put in place to support ongoing digital product and service development and future growth.

| SAP | SAP HCM (HR) | SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central | Core HR | HCM | n/a | 2019 | 2019 |
In 2019 dnata Singapore implemented SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central as a Core HR platform to centralize HR Shared Services and support local HR operations for roughly 1,800 employees. The implementation replaced an existing SAP HCM HR environment and acted as the local instance of a broader global SuccessFactors rollout, with dnata Singapore serving as the HR lead for the country.
Configuration work concentrated on Organizational Management and core employee lifecycle records, with explicit setup for leave management, benefits administration and the revised performance management process. The project formalized performance appraisal timelines and implemented processes to calculate, process, upload and advise bonus payments to payroll, while preserving structured organizational updates through organizational management.
Operational integrations included payroll uploads for bonus processing and vendor interfacing for group insurance administration, including re-marketing cycles where benefits options were compared and presented to management for approval. The program also encompassed non-payroll operational continuity tasks such as oversight of airport pass application for new hires and existing employees, and ongoing collation of audit documentation to support HR audits.
Governance and process changes were centered in HR Shared Services, with responsibilities to identify, review and streamline HR processes, coach and mentor new HR personnel, and manage day to day employee lifecycle administration. The local HR lead contributed subject matter guidance to headquarters on Singapore employment laws and Ministry of Manpower compliance, and maintained liaison with external insurance vendors for policy administration and enquiries.
The initiative explicitly included process improvement activities across shared services and established documented workflows for leave query resolution, benefits review against MOM regulations and audit readiness. SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central was positioned as the Core HR system underpinning these governance, operational and compliance workflows.
