In 2015, Dollar Tree implemented Infor Lawson as its ERP Financial application. The deployment targeted core finance operations at Dollar Tree Headquarters in Chesapeake, VA with emphasis on accounts receivable, payment processing, and general ledger workflows managed by corporate finance.
Infor Lawson was applied to invoice management and payment processing, where users performed manual entry of individual invoices and leveraged Excel-based batch uploads into the Lawson payment module. Functional capabilities observed include accounts receivable transaction capture, system report generation for reconciliation, and GL credit balance investigation using Infor Lawson reporting features.
Operational ownership rested with the Finance organization, specifically the Accounts Receivable team, and involved cross-organizational engagement to align payment and reconciliation procedures. Day to day governance combined hands-on transaction entry, Excel-driven batch import routines, and recurring report-driven balancing activities, supported by shadowing and knowledge transfer across associates to sustain operational continuity.

In 2022, Dollar Tree implemented Workday Absence Management to centralize Absence and Leave Management across its enterprise HR landscape. The deployment of Workday Absence Management was executed as part of an expanded Workday HCM footprint and explicitly associated with the companys HR, payroll, and timekeeping modernization efforts.
The implementation configured Workday Absence Management alongside core Workday modules including HCM, Core HR, Compensation, Talent, Benefits, Time Tracking, and Reporting. Configuration work emphasized Workday business process frameworks, advanced report design and BIRT-style reporting capabilities, and absence-specific eligibility and accrual rules to align with retail shift and hourly workforce patterns.
The project replaced an existing Infor Lawson Absence and Leave Management deployment and established integrations and data flows with Payroll, Core HR, Time Tracking, and cross-functional IT systems to maintain single-source-of-truth employee absence records. Operational coverage targeted enterprise HR and payroll operations, with the Manager, HRIS (Workday) role coordinating stakeholders across HR, Payroll, IT, and business units to validate end-to-end data integrity and process orchestration.
Governance and rollout responsibilities included system release management, structured testing cycles, documentation, user guides, and training materials under HRIS leadership. The program incorporated data governance, privacy and compliance controls referenced for SOX and GDPR, ongoing configuration management, and a staffed HRIS team to manage enhancements, support, and adoption of Workday Absence Management.

| Anaplan | Legacy | Anaplan Assortment Planning | Assortment Planning | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2022 | 2022 |
In 2022, Dollar Tree implemented Anaplan Assortment Planning as a central element of a merchandising consolidation program. The deployment targeted merchandising and assortment planning workflows across Dollar Tree and Family Dollar banners, and program materials reference the Apps Category "" while naming Anaplan Assortment Planning as the application for centralized assortment decisioning.
Anaplan Assortment Planning was configured to support assortment hierarchies, SKU level assortment modeling, scenario and version planning, and promotional window planning consistent with assortment planning capabilities. Configuration work emphasized model-driven planning logic, data orchestration into planning models, and the creation of reusable planning modules to standardize assortment rules across banners.
The Anaplan deployment was executed as part of a broader merchandising and supply chain modernization effort that included consolidation to a single merchandising platform and parallel implementations such as Oracle MFCS, Manhattan Active products, and distributed warehouse and transportation initiatives. Operational scope covered merchandising teams and assortment planners for both banners, and the implementation was positioned to feed assortment outputs into downstream store operations and replenishment workflows.
Governance and rollout were managed within Dollar Tree Digital under a director-level program that also advanced Agile, DevOps, and automation practices across retail technology initiatives. The Anaplan Assortment Planning deployment was staged to align with other merchandising and store operations programs, with governance focused on cross-functional process alignment between merchandising, supply chain, and store operations rather than on technical point solutions alone.
