| Intuit | Legacy | Intuit Quickbooks Enterprise | ERP Financial | ERP | n/a | 2012 | 2013 |
In 2012, DTC Corporation implemented Intuit Quickbooks Enterprise as its ERP Financial application to centralize accounting and cash management across four legal entities, Carvision, Carvision Rental, 2301 Investors LP and 2831 Investors LP. The deployment addressed multi-entity financial consolidation needs, positioning Intuit Quickbooks Enterprise as the system of record for general ledger, bank reconciliation, and statutory sales and use tax filing workflows.
The implementation configured core accounting modules for accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed asset and cash management, and inventory tracking specific to vehicle assets. Functional capabilities included month end and year end adjustments to support CPA reviews, structured monthly financial statement generation, and reconciliations for multiple operating bank accounts. The system supported operational payroll processing where ADP Payroll was used in conjunction with Intuit Quickbooks Enterprise and supplemental Excel processes to manage payroll data.
Integrations and operational coverage were scoped to four companies and to the office manager and a controller overseeing three accountants who performed day to day functions. Reconciliations and cash deposit workflows were routed through the Quickbooks environment, and month end close activities were coordinated to produce consolidated statements for monthly financial review meetings. Vehicle inventory control was maintained within the accounting records with tracked assets valued at approximately 5 million dollars.
Governance centered on regularized month end procedures, controlled A R and A P workflows, and documented processes for preparing materials for external CPA review. The accounting team used Intuit Quickbooks Enterprise to standardize reporting cadence and to enforce reconciliation discipline across the four entities, aligning operational accounting, tax filing and investor reporting processes under a single ERP Financial application.

In 2021, DTC Corporation deployed Sendbird Chat on its website. The implementation uses Sendbird Chat within the Chatbots and Conversational AI category as the primary customer-facing messaging layer for online sales and support interactions, aligning the application with front-end digital engagement workflows.
The deployment centers on Sendbird Chat capabilities for real-time messaging, channel management, message history and moderation controls. Configuration emphasized web SDK embedding and a lightweight chat widget, session context propagation, presence indicators and message threading to support asynchronous and synchronous customer conversations.
Integrations are limited to the website front-end and authentication hooks that associate chat sessions with known user accounts, enabling handoff to support and ecommerce teams. Operational coverage focuses on customer support and online sales functions, with the chat implementation scoped to public-facing pages and commerce entry points.
Governance put in place role-based access for support agents, retention and moderation settings, and escalation workflows to route complex conversations to human agents. Rollout was executed as an embedded website feature set with instrumentation for monitoring chat availability and quality, and configuration controls for iterative tuning of channel rules and agent workflows.
