In 2023 Booths implemented Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central as its ERP Financial platform, migrating from Microsoft Dynamics NAV and establishing a full retail management solution covering core commercial and financial operations. The programme targeted Buying, Supply, Logistics, Finance and Retail functions and was executed as a multi-stream Business Central deployment supporting integrated retail and back office workflows.
Work focused on configuration of functional modules aligned to retail ERP workflows, with explicit analysis and prioritisation of end to end testing across Buying, Supply, Logistics, Finance and Retail streams. The programme included a rewrite of the programme Test Strategy, development of an Operational Acceptance Test plan following system architecture analysis, and targeted testing of Business Central roles and permissions, data migration processes and PowerBI report generation.
Infrastructure and operational readiness were validated through coordinated test requirements with infrastructure teams, covering performance, environment readiness, security, failover and disaster recovery, and warehouse wifi readiness. Test execution and tracking for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central were performed in Jira and Zephyr, with daily and weekly test reporting to stream owners and support for end to end test cycles.
Governance work produced reusable artefacts including test closure report templates and a formal sign off mechanism, alongside creation of an organisational quality policy and mentoring of in‑house test management to industry standards. The Operational Acceptance Test plan and test collateral were designed to become permanent company assets to govern Business Central change control and release acceptance.
All test collateral and tracking remained in Jira and Zephyr, and the programme delivered a structured test reporting cadence and permanent test governance artefacts to support ongoing ERP Financial operations in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

| ClickLearn | Legacy | ClickLearn Platform | Digital Adoption | HCM | n/a | 2023 | 2023 |
In 2023 Booths implemented the ClickLearn Platform as a Digital Adoption solution to author, publish and manage role specific training across its retail organization. The deployment targeted the Central Office and store floor employees and integrated with existing Learning and Development processes.
The implementation centered on ClickLearn Platform content authoring and multimedia editing capabilities. Activities included learning the ClickLearn authoring environment, editing raw content into step by step training videos, and publishing structured learning modules including a Think25 course designed for store floor staff. Content was tailored to job role and packaged for both video and written guide consumption.
Operational integrations during the rollout included practical training tied to PowerBI dashboards where ClickLearn content was used to teach colleagues how to navigate specific reports and views. Learning data and weekly progress tracking were produced in Excel to feed line managers, and the ClickLearn Platform was used to publish and distribute the training to over 250 colleagues in the Central Office. The program also included ongoing coordination with the ClickLearn account owner in Denmark to resolve authoring questions and share implementation approaches.
Governance and process coordination relied on close collaboration with Stream Owners and the internal Learning and Development team who provided iterative feedback and check ups on content clarity and coverage. Publishing workflows emphasized role specific assignment, review cycles and staged sharing to ensure each individual received learning relevant to their function. The work spanned a defined contributor period from September 2024 to March 2025 where a Digital Learning Design Assistant performed course assembly and editing under time pressure.
Delivered outputs included a library of training videos, published role specific modules via the ClickLearn Platform, a Think25 course for all store floor employees and Excel based weekly progress reports to managers. The effort also supported PowerBI adoption through joint teaching sessions and ClickLearn guided content that mapped directly to dashboard navigation.

The Rocket.chat deployment centers on a web chat widget and real-time messaging channels, providing direct messaging, channel-based conversations, and persistent message history consistent with Chatbots and Conversational AI workflows. Configuration work focused on widget placement, session routing to live agents, and basic conversation automation to standardize customer interactions.
Operational coverage is concentrated on Booths' digital storefront and customer service function for its United Kingdom operations, supporting e-commerce inquiries and front-line retail customer support teams.
