| Oracle | Legacy | Oracle E-Business Suite | ERP Financial | ERP Financial Management | n/a | 2013 | 2013 |
In 2013, Eaton Electrical Australia implemented Oracle E-Business Suite as its ERP Financial system. The deployment was positioned to centralize core finance and accounting processes for Eaton’s Australia operations and to support reporting and control requirements across Australia and New Zealand finance functions.
Oracle E-Business Suite was configured to support standard ERP Financial capabilities including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, cost accounting and the balance sheet reconciliation processes. Configuration work emphasized ledger and subledger integrity, automated reconciliation workflows and control points around payroll payment review, reflecting the finance ownership of balance sheet accuracy and subledger support.
Operationally the implementation operated in close coordination with Eaton’s shared services model, with AP, FA and GL activities performed by a shared services team in India while local finance retained control of reconciliations and month end review. The Finance Manager led a subsequent Oracle systems upgrade from 11i to R12 in Australia, demonstrating an ongoing application lifecycle program and version governance for Oracle E-Business Suite.
Governance was formalized through strengthened internal controls, documented account reconciliation ownership and direct management of auditor relationships to ensure statutory and GAAP compliance. The finance organization used the ERP Financial implementation to support SOX readiness, achieving a zero gap SOX audit result in 2017, and tightened reconciliation and payroll controls that uncovered errors and recovered several thousands of dollars.

| ADP | Legacy | ADP PayForce | Payroll | HCM | n/a | 2015 | 2015 |
In 2015, Eaton Electrical Australia implemented ADP PayForce for Payroll operations to centralize employee pay processing and statutory reporting. The deployment used ADP PayForce in an outsourcing model to operate both fortnightly and monthly payroll cycles, explicitly covering New Zealand payroll through the ADP PayForce outsourcing arrangement.
ADP PayForce was configured for full function payroll capabilities, including onboarding and new hire processing, setup and maintenance of deductions and allowances, and end of pay payments for Social Club contributions, health funds, Superannuation and PAYG tax. The implementation also included Year End payment summary processing as part of the recurring payroll calendar and statutory reporting workflows.
Operational coverage extended across payroll, HR and finance functions, with daily response routines for emails and telephone enquiries and active liaison between payroll administrators and supervisors or managers. The payroll team handled interpretation and application of awards such as Electrical and Trades awards within ADP PayForce to ensure correct award rate application and entitlements.
Governance and workflow changes centered on an outsourced processing model combined with retained internal control points, including manager approvals and award interpretation responsibilities. Eaton Electrical Australia ADP PayForce Payroll supported ongoing compliance and pay cycle orchestration while integrating payroll administration into HR onboarding and finance reconciliation practices.
