In 2016 ECi Software Solutions implemented Oracle NetSuite ERP as its ERP Financial platform to support accounts payable and core finance operations. Oracle NetSuite ERP was used to formalize A/P processing and transaction workflows for the Dublin, OH finance team responsible for invoice posting and payment execution.
The implementation focused on Accounts Payable configuration and operational modules including invoice entry, purchase order matching, general ledger coding, expense claim processing, ACH file generation, check printing and bank reconciliation. Oracle NetSuite ERP supported creation of journal entries to balance travel and expense accounts and workflows to process customer refunds in coordination with Accounts Receivable.
Operational integrations and data flows were explicit in the environment, invoices being entered into a Synergy System and verified for loading into the financial software of Globe, credit card activity handled through the Bank of America online Works system with downloads reconciled in Excel and uploaded as CSV into the financial application, and ACH files prepared for upload to the bank with direct debit matching to bank statements. The deployment covered divisional A/P responsibilities and interfaced with purchasing and banking channels to close payment cycles.
Governance and process controls were embedded in routine workflows, with policy compliance checks on expense claims, approval gating for payable items, coordination with Purchasing to ensure correct GL account usage and PO linkage, monthly A/P balance and close procedures per division, and distribution of payment specifications for ACH and wire cycles. Day to day operational ownership resided with financial and A/P specialists who maintained vendor relationships and ensured timely payment processing.

In 2019, ECi Software Solutions implemented Certinia PSA ex FinancialForce PSA in its Salesforce environment. The deployment targeted Professional Services Automation functions across ECi’s professional services and support operations within a Salesforce org supporting more than 800 end users including over 200 Certinia users.
Configuration work centered on service case routing and access control, with implementation of user profiles, case assignment rules, and product and dependent product picklists to drive case routing logic. Cross functional permissions for Certinia PSA users were defined and the team updated roles, approval processes, email alerts, and product fields to align PSA workflows with the company CRM roadmap and operational requirements.
Integration and operational coverage were anchored to the Salesforce CRM platform and the company ticketing workflow, supporting sales, services, and onboarding activities. The Certinia PSA rollout was used as the key mechanism to integrate acquired companies into ECi business units by coordinating updates to roles, approval workflows, notification rules, and end user training.
Governance emphasized a centralized permission model, documented case assignment governance, and formal approval process controls coupled with email alerting to sustain PSA operations. Operational support metrics were monitored through the ticketing system and the organization maintained an average ticket turnaround time of 24 to 48 hours depending on complexity.
