In 2017, ECO Special Waste Management implemented Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. The ERP Financial deployment replaced Microsoft Dynamics NAV and centralized core finance and accounting functions for the Singapore-based professional services organization of about 100 employees.
The implementation focused on configuring core financial management modules typical for ERP Financial systems, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets and cash management. Business Central was configured to support chart of accounts standardization, period close sequencing and automated journal processing to align financial workflows with corporate reporting requirements.
Data migration activities moved master records and transactional history from Microsoft Dynamics NAV into Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, while reporting and analytics capabilities were provisioned through integrations with Power BI, Jet Reports and Qlikview. Hands-on development, coding, testing and report delivery were part of the implementation, enabling consolidated financial reporting and operational dashboards tied to Business Central data.
Governance and process changes accompanied the rollout, with updated reconciliation controls, month-end close procedures and role-based access in Business Central to support finance and accounting teams across the company. The narrative reflects practical ERP Financial implementation practices for a mid-sized Singapore firm moving from Microsoft Dynamics NAV to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

| Fluke Corporation | Legacy | Fluke eMaint CMMS | Computerized Maintenance Management (CMMS) | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2018 | 2018 |
In 2018, ECO Special Waste Management implemented Fluke eMaint CMMS to centralize maintenance planning and operational work management. The deployment targeted Computerized Maintenance Management (CMMS) capabilities to move paper based preventive maintenance into a digital checklist driven process, and to support a formal cost reduction project.
The Fluke eMaint CMMS implementation covered standard CMMS functional modules including preventive maintenance scheduling, digital PM checklists, corrective maintenance work order planning and scheduling, annual shutdown job planning and testing, and technical documentation capture for breakdown and root cause analysis. The system was used to prepare yearly preventive maintenance plans for plant equipment such as centrifugal pumps, belt conveyors, sand elevators, screw conveyors, high speed blowers, air conditioners, air compressors, cooling tower systems, and rotary valves.
Operational coverage included coordination between Plant Engineers, Maintenance Technicians, and Operations, and supervision of an inhouse maintenance team of eight technicians. The implementation supported jobscope preparation for contractor repairs, purchase request preparation for rectification and replacement works, and routine job allocation as per weekly plans and priority jobs, affecting maintenance, procurement, operations, safety, and HR functions.
Governance and process changes were instituted alongside the Fluke eMaint CMMS rollout, including daily toolbox safety meetings, creation of safe work procedures and training, absence planning and performance appraisals for technicians, and weekly and monthly reporting to directors. An explicit outcome recorded by the senior mechanical engineer was improved efficiency and reduced manpower time by achieving a paperless PM checklist through the eMaint system, and the project was tied to a broader cost reduction initiative while maintaining adherence to KPI plans.
