Oracle Legacy Oracle Cloud ERP ERP Financial ERP Financial Management n/a 2018 2019
In 2018, Edelweiss Financial Services India implemented Oracle Cloud ERP as its core platform in the ERP Financial category and initiated a Journey to Cloud that moved its in-premise ERP footprint onto Oracle Fusion. The deployment was positioned within Finance Shared Services and targeted procure to pay, expense management, treasury, and vendor advance workflows as primary operational domains. The implementation configured a Source to Procure to Pay S2P2P module with automation layers, and integrated Robotic Process Automation levers consistent with a MACHINE FIRST DELIVERY MODEL. Oracle Cloud ERP was extended with an expense management tool, Happay, to digitize employee reimbursement for travel and non travel claims and to institutionalize branch petty cash flows. Treasury operations were restructured through a Bank Management workflow platform with H2H connectivity to banks for real time transaction updates, and vendor on boarding and advance management processes were redesigned within the Oracle Fusion framework. The program scoped integrations around bank H2H endpoints and the Happay expense tool, and mapped functional orchestration across treasury, accounts payable, and vendor management. Governance emphasized Finance Shared Services led change, with digital transformation leadership driving use of RPA augmented by AI and machine learning, blockchain proof of concept work, natural language processing and chat bot interaction for select workflows. Rollout focused on process standardization, automation of approval and reconciliation flows, and embedding Oracle Cloud ERP as the transactional backbone for finance operations.

Darwinbox Legacy Darwinbox Core HR Core HR HCM n/a 2018 2018
In 2018, Edelweiss Financial Services India implemented Darwinbox Core HR, deploying the Darwinbox Core HR cloud HCM suite to centralize personnel records and standardize HR workflows across the organization. The early deployment established a single Core HR system of record while positioning the application as the authoritative source for employee master data within Edelweiss technology operations. The implementation integrated the Darwinbox Core HR suite with an in house HR data mart that aggregates cross‑functional HR data, enabling consolidated reporting and near real time synchronization of employee attributes. Operational coverage included integration and co‑management with existing in house HR applications, specifically 360 Degree feedback, performance and compensation management, ESOP management, leave and attendance, HR helpdesk ticketing, and asset procurement, preserving domain workflows while centralizing core master data and HR transactions. Technical connections were extended to the Microsoft platform, using Power Apps, Power Automate and SharePoint lists for process automation and a modern SharePoint communication site as the intranet portal interface. Reporting and analytics were centralized in Power BI with dashboards fed from the HR data mart and Darwinbox Core HR, and an automated process for user identity management was implemented for O365 accounts. From an infrastructure standpoint, related HR applications and components were consolidated to AWS to standardize hosting and operational support. Governance and rollout were driven from an internal technology projects team, including a Technology Project Manager leading an 11 member group that managed configuration, integrations and statutory audit compliance for the HR information management system. The program combined application configuration, process automation and audit controls to align HR operational processes with centralized data governance and access provisioning. As an explicit outcome, reporting and dashboards were transformed to Power BI to provide a single view across HCM and ancillary HR applications, and the SharePoint intranet was built to centralize employee-facing HR services. These steps reinforced Darwinbox Core HR as the central Core HR platform supporting HR operations and analytics within Edelweiss Financial Services India.

In-House Applications Legacy In-House Digital Banking Digital Banking ERP Services and Operations n/a 2021 2021
In 2021, Edelweiss Financial Services India implemented the In-House Digital Banking application. The In-House Digital Banking deployment was developed on the OutSystems low-code platform with delivery partner valantic to deliver public-facing web and mobile capabilities in the Digital Banking category. The implementation focused on an in-house digital lending platform for SME lending, covering three lines of business, housing, business, and personal loans. Functional capabilities included customer onboarding web and mobile apps, automated loan origination workflows, dynamic applicant creditworthiness validation during the application flow, and elimination of paper-based forms from the onboarding journey. Edelweiss used an iterative, agile delivery model and achieved an initial production release within six months, enabling continuous integration and continuous delivery to drive regular iterative releases. The platform configuration emphasized automation of credit checks and rule-driven validation, instrumented to validate applicant data as users progressed through the application to reduce manual handoffs and data loss. Governance and rollout emphasized continuous user feedback and lean iterative delivery, and within 12 months Edelweiss shifted ongoing and future development work to the OutSystems platform. The delivery model involved the in-house team working with valantic for OutSystems implementation services, and the platform selection cited the need for enterprise-grade scalability, security, and accelerated development velocity. Reported outcomes from the In-House Digital Banking initiative include automation that accelerated loan origination and a reported two-thirds saving in processing costs, reduction of critical data loss from 40 percent to zero, a two times productivity increase, and an enhanced user experience. The initiative was recognized as an Innovation Awards Winner 2021.
