In 2019, EG Group implemented SAP SuccessFactors Contingent Workforce Management as part of its move to RISE with SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud. The SAP SuccessFactors Contingent Workforce Management deployment extended EG Group's Contingent Labor Management footprint within a single digital core designed to support standardized workforce practices and faster onboarding of acquired businesses.
The implementation concentrated on core contingent labor capabilities, including contingent worker onboarding and lifecycle management, supplier and engagement management, time capture and compliance workflows, and synchronization of contingent profiles with core HR records. Configuration work emphasized standardized templates, role based access controls and business rule orchestration within SAP SuccessFactors to centralize contingent worker metadata and operational workflows.
The Contingent Workforce Management solution was deployed in the context of EG Group's broader SAP estate, integrating with SAP SuccessFactors core HR and leveraging SAP Business Technology Platform for extensions and orchestration. Reporting and insight flows were directed into SAP Analytics Cloud and SAP Group Reporting, while solution extension initiatives delivered document management and e-signature functionality and improved employee experience through SAP Work Zone.
Operational coverage aligned contingent worker processes with EG Group's HR and workforce management functions across the UK, Europe and Australia, and with the companys global retail and forecourt footprint of over 6,200 sites in 10 markets. Governance workstreams implemented SAP best practices to strengthen internal controls, establish a centre of excellence and create a universal ERP template to accelerate acquisition integration and consistent policy enforcement.
The deployment aimed to remove complexity and provide consistent, real-time contingent labor data to enable insight-to-action, while enabling tighter automation of end-to-end HR and workforce processes. The SAP SuccessFactors Contingent Workforce Management implementation supports EG Group Contingent Labor Management and broader HR operational standardization and governance across the business.

In 2022, EG Group implemented flowdit as a Manufacturing ERP to support its manufacturing and production operations. The deployment of flowdit for EG Group positions the application as the primary Manufacturing ERP responsible for production execution and inventory orchestration across its operational units.
The flowdit implementation focused on core manufacturing modules consistent with the Manufacturing ERP category, including production planning and scheduling, bill of materials and routing management, inventory and warehouse management, shop floor control and execution, procurement support, and quality management and traceability capabilities. Configuration work emphasized standard manufacturing workflows, lot and serial tracking, and role based access for production planners and shop floor users.
The design included interfaces for master data exchange and transactional flows to surrounding enterprise systems, enabling material masters, supplier records, and production transactions to be shared with finance and operational systems. Data exchange and integration patterns were aligned to sustain supply continuity and to support inventory reconciliation between manufacturing and distribution functions.
Governance for the flowdit rollout at EG Group established process ownership in manufacturing and procurement, formal change control for configuration updates, and phased onboarding of functional teams to align operating procedures with the new Manufacturing ERP. Training and operational documentation were scoped to embed the workflow changes into manufacturing operations and procurement governance.
