In 2017 Elivie initiated a 15 month deployment of SAP S/4 HANA, implementing the system in the ERP Financial category as a core enterprise platform for the third largest healthcare provider in France. The program was framed as a migration from SAP ERP ECC 6.0 to SAP S/4 HANA and targeted modernization of finance and operational back office capabilities across the organization.
The implementation delivered SAP S/4 HANA functional coverage including FI CO, MM, ISH, PM, SD, CS, ITS, together with SAP Fiori user experience and SAP Work Manager for mobile workforce support. Configuration work focused on financial accounting and controlling workflows, materials and procurement processes, industry specific healthcare process integration using ISH, maintenance planning and execution through PM, and sales and service transaction handling via SD and CS.
Operational scope and integrations emphasized cross departmental coverage, with design and testing activities spanning finance, procurement, maintenance and patient facing service functions, and integration of Fiori and Work Manager for role based user access and mobile operations. The program used a blended staffing model of 10 internal consultants and 15 external consultants to execute configuration, testing and cutover tasks.
Project governance was structured around an Elivie project manager leading weekly project committee meetings and delivering to a steering committee, sustaining program oversight across the 15 month timeline.
