In 2015, Elma implemented Exact Synergy as its Document Management application to professionalise and optimize the company service management process in its manufacturing operations. The deployment targeted service operations and customer service workflows, aligning document capture and case handling with Elma’s emphasis on customer satisfaction and service quality.
Configuration work focused on centralizing service documentation, automating workflow orchestration for service cases, and structuring digital forms and records to reduce manual errors. Exact Synergy was configured to manage service records and associated documents, and workflow automation was applied to standardize handoffs between field technicians and back-office teams.
BrainSys executed an explicit integration linking Exact Synergy with MoreApp, creating a single end-to-end workflow that connected mobile field data capture to the central Document Management repository. That integration unified digital forms, field reports, and service dossiers so information flows directly into Exact Synergy for processing and archival.
Governance and operational change concentrated on professionalising the service process, with updated process controls and a single authoritative document stream for service work. Outcomes reported by Elma include faster, more professional service execution, fewer errors, and increased control over the service process, which supported the company’s goal of higher customer satisfaction.
