SAP ERP ECC 6.0 was deployed with a focus on central financials and integrated operational workflows, alongside explicitly defined building blocks for Master Data Management, Manufacturing Execution System, Dairy Management and a Logistic Execution Layer. The project configured ERP Financial capabilities to align with a universal process model, while accommodating localized functional needs from individual business units and specialty product lines such as branded dairy concepts.
The technical and program architecture emphasized tight integration between SAP ERP ECC 6.0 and the four central IT components, implemented concurrently to provide consistent master data, plant-level execution and logistics orchestration. BearingPoint served as a primary systems integrator and the program coordinated work across more than five consulting partners, reflecting a multi-vendor delivery model and a target IT environment requiring compliance with corporate IT standards.
Governance centered on a customized procedure model to increase competitiveness, with structured process standardization, targeted onboarding of employees and a coordinated partner management approach. The rollout prioritized aligning local unit functional interests with corporate strategy, embedding process governance and ensuring the implemented SAP ERP ECC 6.0, Master Data Management, Manufacturing Execution System, Dairy Management and Logistic Execution Layer supported continued organizational development.

In 2016 Emmi Group began deploying SAP SuccessFactors Learning as part of a broader SAP SuccessFactors rollout. The company implemented Recruiting Management, Employee Central and the Learning module, using SAP SuccessFactors Learning in the Learning and Development category to centralize HR master data, talent and training processes.
The deployment used cloud-hosted SuccessFactors infrastructure with multilingual configuration in German, English, French, Italian and Spanish. Employee Central and Recruiting Management were taken live in Switzerland in the summer of 2015 following an eight month project kick-off, covering 3,000 employees in Switzerland during the 2016 phase and targeting integration of all 5,300 employees across 13 countries by 2017.
Functionally the program configured Employee Central for core HR records and vacancy management workflows, Recruiting Management to automate job advertisement creation and candidate handling, and the Learning module as the learning management system to administer courses and standardize talent and advanced training processes. The professional consultancy and international network of tts supported configuration, cloud provisioning and the international rollout sequence.
Governance focused on process standardization across locations, streamlined user interfaces for end users and centralized reporting to support HR and talent decision making. Reported outcomes included more transparent training processes, improved performance manageability, simplified reporting analytics, shortened recruiting lead-times and generally more efficient HR workflows.
