Central Bank of Ireland | Government | 2234 | $1.5B | Ireland | SAP | SAP ERP ECC 6.0 | ERP Financial | 2007 |
In 2007 Central Bank of Ireland implemented SAP ERP ECC 6.0 as its ERP Financial platform to centralize core finance operations. The deployment was structured on a multi-tier SAP architecture with distinct database and application layers, and platform ownership included ongoing SAP Basis operations managed by BearingPoint.
The SAP ERP ECC 6.0 implementation covered core ERP Financial capabilities, with configuration work aligned to standard financial modules such as general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, asset accounting and treasury operations. Subsequent lifecycle activities documented for the environment included upgrading SAP ECC 6.0 from SP26 to SP33 and performing kernel upgrades to maintain platform compliance and stability.
Platform and integration work was executed through SAP Solution Manager and network routing components, BearingPoint installed and configured Solution Manager 7.2 and managed saprouter installations. Infrastructure changes included migrating SAP from Microsoft SQL Server 2008 to Microsoft SQL Server 2016, and upgrades to the SAP backbone to support transport control and digitally signed notes, reflecting a combined application plus database operational scope.
Governance and run operations were formalized through Solution Manager administration, including LMDB reconciliation, Maintenance Planner driven support stacks, and EarlyWatch reporting, with day to day Basis support tasks performed by BearingPoint. Activities also included data cleansing through archiving and deletions, client copies and system refreshes, patch and kernel management, security administration and performance analysis to sustain the SAP ERP ECC 6.0 ERP Financial environment.

Diverzify | Construction and Real Estate | 1200 | $300M | United States | IFS | IFS Cloud ERP | ERP Financial | 2022 |
In 2022 Diverzify implemented IFS Cloud ERP as its centralized ERP Financial platform to consolidate more than 16 independent flooring acquisitions and unify end-to-end processes from customer-to-cash. The initiative was executed in partnership with BearingPoint and Arcwide, and began with a comprehensive assessment and fit gap analysis across Project Management, Procurement and Warehouse Management, Corporate Financials, Payroll and Commissions Management, and associated integrations.
The IFS Cloud ERP deployment followed a design build test and migration approach, establishing a core IFS Cloud model augmented with more than 200 custom system enhancements to support business-specific workflows. The program included rigorous data migration practice, executing over 15 mock migration cutovers and staging three go lives across 27 sites in the initial phase to validate processes and transition plans.
Operationally the program aligned Diverzify IT around Salesforce and IFS Cloud ERP, enabling integrated customer and financial processes and providing a clear upgrade path from their prior IFS Apps 10 environment where applicable. BearingPoint and Arcwide delivered training Hypercare and PMO services across 24 states and 63 sites, and the rollout covered 15 acquisitions implemented over a 20 month window with roughly 3,000 users migrated onto the common platform.
Governance work redefined roles and standardized a single set of procedures across Diverzify flooring divisions and locations, with the PMO sustaining continuous improvement and ongoing enhancement delivery. The consolidated IFS Cloud ERP environment supported centralized financial controls and consistent lead to cash workflows while reducing the companys reliance on more than ten previous point tools down to a two tool stack.
As implemented IFS Cloud ERP provided Diverzify with a standardized platform for corporate financials and customer to cash operations, improved operational transparency, and a foundation for further IT modernization and consolidated reporting. The IFS Cloud ERP deployment, categorized under ERP Financial, positioned Diverzify to scale acquisitions with a common process framework and a sustained program of system enhancements and governance.

Emmi Group | Consumer Packaged Goods | 9333 | $4.7B | Switzerland | SAP | SAP ERP ECC 6.0 | ERP Financial | 2017 |
In 2017, Emmi Group implemented SAP ERP ECC 6.0 as part of its OneERP program, migrating core finance and operational processes from SAP Business One. The implementation was driven to harmonize and standardize processes across Emmi’s production footprint, which includes approximately 25 production plants in Switzerland and export operations to around 60 countries, and to create a uniform ERP Financial backbone to support acquisition-led growth.
SAP ERP ECC 6.0 was deployed with a focus on central financials and integrated operational workflows, alongside explicitly defined building blocks for Master Data Management, Manufacturing Execution System, Dairy Management and a Logistic Execution Layer. The project configured ERP Financial capabilities to align with a universal process model, while accommodating localized functional needs from individual business units and specialty product lines such as branded dairy concepts.
The technical and program architecture emphasized tight integration between SAP ERP ECC 6.0 and the four central IT components, implemented concurrently to provide consistent master data, plant-level execution and logistics orchestration. BearingPoint served as a primary systems integrator and the program coordinated work across more than five consulting partners, reflecting a multi-vendor delivery model and a target IT environment requiring compliance with corporate IT standards.
Governance centered on a customized procedure model to increase competitiveness, with structured process standardization, targeted onboarding of employees and a coordinated partner management approach. The rollout prioritized aligning local unit functional interests with corporate strategy, embedding process governance and ensuring the implemented SAP ERP ECC 6.0, Master Data Management, Manufacturing Execution System, Dairy Management and Logistic Execution Layer supported continued organizational development.
