In 2017 Employer Flexible implemented Microsoft Dynamics GP to support core accounting operations. The Microsoft Dynamics GP deployment targeted ERP Financial functions across the companys accounting team, centered in the Northwest Houston office that manages payables, receivables, general ledger and employee expense workflows.
Configuration work focused on accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger modules within Microsoft Dynamics GP, with functional setups for vendor management, invoice verification and matching, scheduled check and electronic payment processing, employee expense report processing and AR collection reporting. The implementation included document management practices for scanning and filing historical records and controls for verifying federal identification numbers and reconciling outstanding memos.
Operational scope covered routine AP tasks such as monitoring discount opportunities, preparing payments, resolving purchase order contract invoice or payment discrepancies, issuing stop payments and ensuring credit memos are applied. The system was set up to support accounting coordinators responsible for day to day AP AR GL activities, expense advances and collections calls, aligning software workflows with those job functions.
Governance and workflow restructuring emphasized centralized invoice workflows, formalized dispute and reconciliation processes, and confidential information handling to protect organizational value. Microsoft Dynamics GP served as the primary ERP Financial application for accounting controls and reporting, instrumenting formal processes for vendor payment scheduling and AR collections without named third party integration partners noted in source material.

| Mercer | Legacy | Mercer Darwin Benefits (formerly Thomsons Online Benefits) | Benefits Administration | HCM | n/a | 2015 | 2015 |
In 2015, Employer Flexible implemented Mercer Darwin Benefits, formerly Thomsons Online Benefits, to centralize Benefits Administration across its HR function. The deployment supported a block of more than 800 worksite employees and included open enrollment events delivered in English and Spanish to groups as large as 200 participants in the Houston, Texas area.
Configuration and functional scope centered on Darwin Business System set ups for open enrollment, including creation of benefit codes for payroll deductions, adding master plans and rates, and establishing employer and employee deduction schedules. The project team developed business requirements for a life event module in the HRIS MPO system, and benefits administrators processed credit backs and retro-deductions while monitoring and finalizing enrollments for hire, life event, and other event types.
Integrations were explicit and operational, with Darwin Business System synchronized to the HRIS MPO system provided by EmCentrix, and case and task records created in Microsoft Dynamics CRM. Employer Flexible partnered with its internal HR Technology team to enhance CRM records by feeding value data from Darwin Business System and HRIS MPO via ThinkWare, enabling system-to-system data flows between Mercer Darwin Benefits and downstream HR and payroll tooling.
Governance and process transformation were led internally, with a project team that revamped departmental processes and documented requirements for new module implementations. Operational outcomes recorded in project notes include interception and correction of invoice audit errors that avoided client overcharge and company revenue loss, and improvements to day to day enrollment workflows that reduced manual retro-deduction entries in the Darwin Business System and allowed benefits administrators to prioritize higher value tasks.
