| SAP | Legacy | SAP ERP ECC 6.0 | ERP Financial | ERP | n/a | 2012 | 2012 |
In 2012, EnerSys UK implemented SAP ERP ECC 6.0 for a large international manufacturer of industrial batteries, executing a roll-out that covered sales, logistics, manufacturing and FI/CO to centralize core transactional processing. The scope included ERP Financial capability through FI/CO modules alongside operational modules to unify order-to-cash, procure-to-pay and production planning workflows across the Manchester site and connected warehouse operations.
The project team designed, configured and tested a SAP ERP ECC 6.0 warehouse management solution, delivering functional configuration for putaway, picking and inventory controls consistent with warehouse management best practices. Consultants prepared procedural documents for each warehouse process and provided hands-on training to super-users and warehouse operators to establish repeatable operational procedures.
Data migration was supported and the migrated data was subsequently enhanced and rationalised as part of the cutover activities, enabling transactional continuity between sales, logistics, manufacturing and FI/CO modules without naming additional external systems. The implementation integrated warehouse management processes with sales order flows and manufacturing receipts within SAP ERP ECC 6.0 to enforce inventory accuracy and material movement visibility.
Governance and rollout emphasized local process documentation, targeted super-user enablement and post go-live support, with on-site user support resolving identified issues after go-live. Ongoing operational ownership focused on procedure adherence in warehouse operations and stabilization of FI/CO transactions under the SAP ERP ECC 6.0 environment.

| Fluke Corporation | Legacy | Fluke eMaint CMMS | Computerized Maintenance Management (CMMS) | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2019 | 2019 |
In 2019, EnerSys UK implemented Fluke eMaint CMMS. The deployment focused on the lead acid battery manufacturing site and its factory maintenance organization, supporting shift electricians, maintenance technicians and apprentices responsible for robotics, conveyors, heaters, temperature monitoring equipment and heavy machinery.
Fluke eMaint CMMS, a Computerized Maintenance Management (CMMS), was configured to capture scheduled maintenance planning and work order management. Configuration emphasized an asset register, maintenance task templates and preventive maintenance scheduling to formalize PM intervals and automate recurring work order generation and assignment.
Operational coverage centralized maintenance records and schedules for Fanuc robotic machinery, PLC based control systems, sensors and conveyor systems, reflecting the plant level scope of responsibilities such as fault finding, equipment adaptation to UK standards and break down response. The system served as the authoritative repository for maintenance history, PM calendars and task procedures used across shifts and equipment types.
Governance changes tied the CMMS to existing safety and process controls, by incorporating dynamic risk assessments and the preparation and updating of method statements and risk assessments into standard work order workflows. The implementation also supported structured mentoring and task assignment for apprentices, aligning maintenance operations with documented procedures and scheduled maintenance plans.

| Minitab | Legacy | Minitab | Analytics and BI | Analytics and BI | n/a | 2012 | 2012 |
In 2012 EnerSys UK deployed Minitab as part of its Analytics and BI environment for shop floor and manufacturing analysis. The Production Administrator used Minitab to analyze and present production data such as scrap, damp plates and oven breakdowns for the manufacturing manager, linking statistical analysis directly to daily production oversight and manager reporting.
The Minitab implementation emphasized statistical workflows and data visualization consistent with Analytics and BI use cases, supporting trend analysis, basic statistical process control and root cause oriented reporting. Outputs from Minitab were routinely combined with Excel and PowerPoint to populate daily production sheets, prepare the weekly 4D card review and create spreadsheets for cell managers covering holiday planners and damp plate records.
Operational coverage included cell managers, operators, the manufacturing manager and the training department, with analytics feeding into training matrices and weekly training meetings. Minitab analytics operated alongside SAP for booking off cell scrap and alongside document control processes such as archiving daily production documents, creating COSHH and MSDS booklets and scheduling process risk assessments, embedding statistical insight into existing shop floor governance and reporting workflows.
