Vertex Taxamo Assure functions as the companys Tax Management solution, embedded into the site checkout and tax determination logic to provide real time tax calculation and tax validation for digital services and online transactions. The implementation was configured to reflect UK VAT rules and common cross border digital tax scenarios while operating at the web storefront layer.
Operationally the deployment routes taxable transaction detail to finance and commerce workflows, supplying invoice level tax calculations and tax classification needed for compliance record keeping. Vertex Taxamo Assure was configured to produce detailed tax breakdowns and compliance friendly documentation to support audit readiness, aligning with typical Tax Management capabilities such as rate application, tax determination, and transactional reporting. Governance is centered on centralized point of sale tax calculation on the website, ensuring consistent tax logic across the customer journey and reducing manual tax handling by business teams.

In 2020, Enterprise Nation implemented EmbeddedLending, a Loan Management application, in partnership with Funding Xchange under a BCR funded programme. The engagement targeted SME finance and broker channels across the United Kingdom to develop digital finance hubs and accelerate access to business funding.
The deployment centered on digital hubs and the SmartFinanceHub embedded lending tooling. Functional modules configured included broker portals, SME onboarding and application workflows, document capture, and automated loan decisioning capabilities consistent with Loan Management systems. Configuration emphasized channel specific workflows for brokers and direct SME users to support broker assisted origination and self-serve applications.
Architecture was organized as a hub and spoke model linking Enterprise Nation’s online finance hubs with Funding Xchange’s EmbeddedLending services, enabling staged provisioning to broker networks and regional SME hubs across the UK. Operational coverage focused on broker networks and SME facing teams rather than enterprise wide departments, with tooling exposed through SmartFinanceHub interfaces for broker and SME workflows.
Governance was administered through the BCR funded programme with joint oversight between Enterprise Nation and Funding Xchange, and rollout was staged across regional hubs and broker cohorts. The initiative intended to speed access to business funding for brokers and SMEs by embedding the EmbeddedLending Loan Management tooling into SME and broker finance channels.
