In 2011 Equa bank a. s. launched a greenfield retail bank and implemented Oracle Flexcube as its Core Banking platform. The implementation in Prague focused on delivering retail product processing, channel connectivity and operational administration for a newly standing banking operation.
The Oracle Flexcube deployment emphasized product parameterization and configuration, with responsibility for analysis and parameterization of new retail products into the system. Design activities covered architectural design and solution design, process definition, functional and integration testing, documentation and user training, together with ongoing administration of Oracle Flexcube and creation of ad hoc SQL reports to support front line users.
Integrations were explicitly managed with other key applications, including EMC Documentum for document management, PTS, Gemini Front Office for teller and branch workflows, and the banks Internet and mobile banking channels, enabling transaction flow between front office channels and the Core Banking system. Oracle Flexcube served as the central processing engine for retail deposits and account operations, interfacing with channel and document repositories to support end to end retail workflows.
