In 2004, Estafeta implemented SAP ERP ECC 6.0 to establish core ERP Financial capabilities for the company. The initial deployment centralized finance and accounting processing and provided a single SAP ERP ECC 6.0 instance to support corporate financial workflows.
The implementation included SAP ERP ECC 6.0 core financial modules and was implemented alongside SAP CRM, BW, GRC and EP components as part of the broader SAP landscape. Functional coverage emphasized financial accounting, controlling, accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger workflows consistent with ERP Financial operations.
Operational architecture was organized into development, quality assurance and production landscapes, and platform lifecycle work later included a heterogeneous system copy and database upgrade executed by SAP Basis experts. In 2016 the environment underwent a migration from AIX with DB2 9.7 to Red Hat with DB2 10.5, covering ECC, CRM, BW, GRC and EP instances and including OS migration, DB upgrade, tuning and optimization.
SAP Basis activities documented for the landscape included full landscape migration across development QA and production, database upgrade from DB2 9.7 to DB2 10.5, system tuning and optimization, and incident analysis and resolution. Governance work emphasized change control for basis operations, system copy procedures and performance tuning to sustain financial processing continuity.
