In 2015, Ethoca implemented Oracle NetSuite ERP. The deployment established Oracle NetSuite ERP as Ethoca's primary ERP Financial system for core accounting and finance functions.
Ethoca configured general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, fixed asset management and financial reporting modules within Oracle NetSuite ERP, aligning the chart of accounts and transaction flows for a professional services firm. The configuration included revenue recognition workflows and order to cash processes consistent with services revenue management.
The implementation used Oracle NetSuite ERP cloud native SaaS architecture, centralizing transactional posting, period close orchestration and audit trail capture. The system was positioned to support finance, accounting and revenue operations teams across the company and to serve as the authoritative financial record for statutory and management reporting.
Governance was formalized through role based access controls, approval routing for payables and receivables, and standardized month end close procedures, establishing clear process ownership and control. Template based financial reporting and a standardized data model were implemented to support consistent record to report workflows.
