In 2015, EuroWelcome implemented Infor SunSystems as its ERP Financial system. The deployment targeted core finance operations for the UK leisure and hospitality company, with operational responsibility for major accounts based in Spain and South America.
The implementation configured accounts receivable, cash management, invoicing, credit control, and reconciliation workflows within Infor SunSystems. The project included a gap analysis of the company customer database, and development of a reconciliatory payments report that linked information from two systems, with the new report updated daily to feed booking and payment workflows.
Operational integration focused on linking Infor SunSystems with the company customer database and a secondary payments system to enable clearing of open bookings and processing of remittance advice. Daily inputs from pre-payment agencies and liaison with the reservations department were part of the operational scope, ensuring bookings data was reviewed and corrected as needed to support accurate accounting records.
Governance changes included enforcement of customer credit limits, regular communication of account statements to clients, and a defined process for handling invoicing and payment inquiries in coordination with reservations. The finance function posted, allocated, and reconciled daily cash balances and handled invoice and credit note issuance, with documented workflows and recommendations to streamline processes based on the analysis performed.
The implementation maintained 100% accuracy in daily cash postings into the SUN system while supporting daily reconciliations, remittance collection, and resolution of invoicing issues. EuroWelcome Infor SunSystems ERP Financial supported accounts receivable, cash posting, and credit control activities across finance and reservations functions.
