In 2020, Ezcorp implemented Oracle Peoplesoft FSCM as part of a program to migrate its entire data center to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. The migration decision followed evaluation of AWS, Azure, and Oracle and resulted in an OCI centric architecture for PeopleSoft and Hyperion applications.
The Oracle Peoplesoft FSCM deployment focused on PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2 alongside PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 and Hyperion, aligning to ERP Financial use cases for core finance operations. Work included configuration of core financial management capabilities, application tier provisioning on OCI, and an automated nightly refresh process for PeopleSoft production applications to populate non production environments.
Astute Business Solutions performed a Cloud Assessment and defined the cloud deployment architecture for production and non production applications on OCI, specifying a hybrid cloud topology with integration to on premise and third party sites. The architecture separated production and non production environments and accounted for lift and shift migration patterns for application, network, and storage components.
Governance and rollout were driven by a detailed project plan from the Cloud Assessment, and execution comprised two parallel six week migrations, one for PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 and one for FSCM 9.2, each moved to OCI. Implementation included the automated nightly refresh mechanism for production PeopleSoft applications and operational controls tailored for hybrid operations.

The implementation was part of a broader selection of Workday products including Workday Financial Management, Workday Adaptive Planning, Workday Strategic Sourcing, and Workday Accounting Center to unify financial and people operations.
Workday Human Capital Management was configured to address core HR capabilities such as absence management, benefits administration, expense management, payroll processing, time tracking, and talent management, reducing reliance on manual data entry and consolidating HR master data. The configuration emphasis aligns with Core HR functional workflows including employee lifecycle management, time and attendance reconciliation, and payroll to HR record consistency.
Operational integrations were aligned with the selected Workday suite, integrating Workday HCM with Workday Financial Management, Workday Adaptive Planning, Workday Strategic Sourcing, and Workday Accounting Center to provide shared master data and financial reporting context. The deployment covered HR and finance business functions across EZCORP's retail, operations, and corporate teams in the United States, Canada, and Latin America.
Governance centered on unified process ownership to automate transactional HR and finance processes and to improve audit readiness and executive visibility into costs and transactions. EZCORP positioned Workday HCM to create better employee experiences and to support enterprise budgeting and scenario planning as part of its stated goal to scale operations and introduce new products.

In 2018, Ezcorp implemented Oracle Analytics Cloud to centralize enterprise analytics and reporting, positioning Oracle Analytics Cloud within its Analytics and BI stack for governed visualization and self service intelligence. The deployment emphasized cloud service administration and tenant level configuration as primary operational capabilities.
The implementation concentrated on core Oracle Analytics Cloud functionality including governed data preparation, visualization, metadata cataloging, and self service reporting, while retaining centralized user account administration. Administrators provisioned and configured security rules across services, with explicit administration tasks for Oracle Data Integrator Cloud services, Oracle Big Data Cloud Services, Oracle Java Cloud Services, and the Oracle Analytics Cloud Service.
Integration work focused on establishing data ingestion and processing flows, using Oracle Data Integrator Cloud services for ETL orchestration and Oracle Big Data Cloud Services for analytical storage, while Oracle Java Cloud Services supported hosted analytics extensions. Operational ownership was assigned to central IT cloud administrators and business intelligence teams, who handled account provisioning, security policy enforcement, and day to day cloud service administration.
Governance and operational processes were documented to manage role based access provisioning and changes to security rules, with procedures defined for ongoing administration of the Oracle Analytics Cloud service. The configuration model emphasized governed access, service level separation for development and production workflows, and routine administration of integrated Oracle cloud services.
