In 2017, Fidelity International implemented Oracle Cloud ERP to consolidate and standardize core finance operations across its corporate accounting organization. The Oracle Cloud ERP adoption aligned with the ERP Financial category and targeted corporate accounting, treasury, and statutory reporting functions for Fidelity International.
The implementation emphasized core financial modules typical of ERP Financial deployments, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets and cash management. Configuration work focused on harmonizing chart of accounts, multi-entity accounting and period close automation, with ledger and subledger controls configured to support centralized financial governance.
The solution was deployed as Oracle Cloud ERP software as a service, providing a centralized finance instance for the companys entities and enabling standard financial processes across sites. Integrations were scoped to connect the cloud ERP to operational systems such as payroll, banking interfaces and external tax reporting feeds in order to sustain end to end financial flows and cash reconciliation.
Programme governance was led by an internal Programme Manager for Oracle Cloud ERP, with a structured rollout and change management plan driven by the central finance team. Implementation governance included phased module rollouts, configuration sign off, process documentation and targeted finance user training to embed new accounting workflows and control points.

Configuration work covered core expense management, travel booking authorization, and invoice capture capabilities consistent with SAP Concur Travel functionality, with automation of approval routing and policy validation. The implementation emphasized integration of expense, travel and invoicing data flows to streamline P2P adjacent processes and to provide a single source of travel and expense records for finance consumption.
Architecturally the roll out used cloud integration patterns described in the programme, and included ERP integration across procure to pay suites of applications along with data migration and removal of several legacy systems. Operational scope extended across global matrix teams, with finance, procurement and technology stakeholders coordinated for cross-border processing and consolidated travel expense controls.
Programme governance was led by a Programme Manager operating a PMO model, with Agile delivery methods and SCRUM sprints to manage continuous development and cloud integration tasks. The approach included Agile training aligned to delivery requirements, active portfolio health oversight, inter-dependency management and formal risk escalation processes to support SAP Concur Travel adoption across the organization.
