In 2012 Finastra implemented SumTotal Performance as part of a broader SumTotal Talent Expansion deployment in the Performance and Goal Management category. The deployment included SumTotal Learn, Compensation, Performance and Workforce Analytics alongside SumTotal Performance to create an integrated talent management stack for HR and line managers.
Veran Performance led the implementation, delivering the solution in about five months for approximately 4,500 employees across roughly 50 countries. SumTotal Performance was configured to cascade corporate goals, support structured performance reviews, enable manager to employee interactions and surface talent signals through workforce analytics.
Operational coverage centered on HR and people management functions, with the rollout focused on global performance and goal alignment processes across multiple regions. Governance was partner-driven with a compressed delivery timeline, embedding standardized goal cascades and manager feedback workflows into existing performance processes.
The implementation yielded full alignment of individual goals to company goals in the HR and performance area, enabled centralized performance review orchestration through SumTotal Performance and extended analytic visibility via the Workforce Analytics module.

Finastra (2019) deployed Oracle Netsuite OpenAir as its Professional Services Automation application to manage a large-scale $4M Citrix migration program that upgraded 41 clients and underlying server and database components. The implementation was structured around an 11-person core team of domestic and offshore application, implementation and deployment engineers; project intake and scope were defined through kickoff workshops, joint application design sessions and a gap analysis that produced a project charter and compressed delivery timelines. Oracle Netsuite OpenAir was exercised for budget and project tracking, resource management, expense management and reporting and was integrated into weekly RAG status reporting with business and technical stakeholders to maintain tactical control of budgets and schedules. Project-level metrics recorded during the program show delivery of 20% more features within the same timeline, a 25% reduction in project timelines and a 15% improvement in project success rate.
