| Microsoft | Legacy | Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations | ERP Financial | ERP | n/a | 2021 | 2022 |
In 2021, Firesafe implemented Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations as the core ERP Financial component in a broader Dynamics 365 and Power Platform program to standardize processes and data and enable operational scalability. The program was initiated to address fragmented processes across business units and countries following rapid growth and acquisitions, with an explicit goal to establish a common data platform and incrementally move sales and service workflows onto a unified Microsoft stack.
The implementation centered on Dynamics 365 customer engagement apps layered on top of the Microsoft Dynamics finance and supply chain estate, using Dataverse as the customer data platform. Functional modules deployed in the initial phase included Dynamics 365 Customer Service with ticketing and a consolidated customer view, Dynamics 365 Sales functionality for quotes and orders in subsequent releases, Power Apps for project document search and retrieval, Power Pages as a customer portal framework, and Dynamics 365 Customer Voice for surveys. Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations was restated as the ERP Financial foundation that allows Finance and Supply Chain Management records to be surfaced in customer engagement apps.
Architecturally the project used dual-write to create near real-time automated data flows between Finance, Supply Chain Management, and the customer engagement layer via Dataverse, and integrated phone system functionality and Microsoft Teams collaboration into support workflows. Identity and access in the portal leveraged Azure AD B2C to align with the existing LMS, enabling single sign on across customer-facing services. The team also built a Power Apps document application to bridge unstructured documents into Dataverse and planned integrations with third-party document repositories, SharePoint Syntex for content extraction, and Customer Insights for segmentation and consent management.
Governance and delivery followed an agile, iterative model with active user involvement and releases approximately every eight weeks, led by a newly appointed Chief Digital Officer who centralized roadmap decisions and change management. The phased rollout began with the Swedish customer support center to realize immediate service improvements, with planned expansion to other support centers and business units to enable future shared services across countries. A field service proof of concept and a staged rollout of Sales and Marketing capabilities are part of the roadmap.
Early outcomes were operational and measurement focused, with immediate visibility into support case volumes and the ability to establish baseline response time metrics and SLAs that were not measurable before. Support agents gained efficiency by accessing contact, sales order, invoice, and pricing data from Dataverse directly within the Customer Service app and Teams, and Customer Voice enabled rapid survey deployment. The organization expects further business benefits as Dynamics 365 Sales and additional integrations go live, including an expected 250% increase in cross-sell and upsell revenue once the Sales functionality is fully implemented.

The deployment established Microsoft 365 as the core cloud-hosted collaboration suite for the 260-employee professional services firm based in Norway, consolidating email, file storage, and real-time collaboration across the organization.
The implementation emphasized core Microsoft 365 capabilities, including Exchange Online mail, SharePoint Online intranet and document libraries, Microsoft Teams for persistent chat and meetings, and OneDrive for Business for user file synchronization. Microsoft 365 identity and access controls were used to govern account provisioning and single sign-on, aligning access policies with standard collaboration workflows.
Public site source signals show Microsoft 365 artifacts present on Firesafe's website, indicating alignment between the corporate web presence and the enterprise Microsoft 365 tenancy. Operational coverage targeted internal communications, knowledge management, and project collaboration within Firesafe's professional services teams, with governance managed through Microsoft 365 admin controls for user accounts and document access policies.

| Microsoft | Legacy | Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management | Supply Chain Management | SCM | n/a | 2021 | 2022 |
In 2021, Firesafe implemented Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management as part of a broader adoption of the Dynamics 365 portfolio and Microsoft Power Platform to standardize processes and data across the company. The 2021 initiative was driven by a newly appointed Chief Digital Officer, and the project kicked off in November 2021 with the first customer engagement iteration launching in early March 2022, establishing a foundation for a common data platform and incremental rollouts.
The implementation centered on customer engagement modules in the initial phases, with Dynamics 365 Customer Service and Dynamics 365 Sales deployed alongside Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management to create a 360-degree customer view. Functional capabilities implemented include ticketing and case management, consolidated customer records in Dataverse, quote to order linkage in Sales, and a Power Apps document application to surface project documents inside the Customer Service app and Microsoft Teams.
Architecturally the solution uses Dataverse as the common data platform, with dual-write configured as the out-of-the-box integration framework to create near real-time automated data flows between Finance, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management, and customer engagement apps. Additional platform components include Power Pages for a customer-facing portal using Azure AD B2C for identity, Customer Voice for surveys, and phone system integration and Microsoft Teams integration for agent collaboration.
Operational rollout began with the customer support team in Sweden to resolve acute ticketing and visibility challenges, with a planned phased expansion to other support centers and business units across the Nordic footprint. The delivery team followed an agile, iterative cadence with releases approximately every eight weeks, engaging users and engineers throughout implementation to accelerate adoption and identify change management needs.
Early outcomes documented by the team include immediate improvements in service efficiency and the ability to baseline customer support KPIs due to the new ticketing system, and faster agent access to order, invoice, contact, and pricing data via Dataverse. Firesafe expects further business impact as Sales functionality rolls out, where cross-sell and upsell revenue is expected to increase by 250% as Dynamics 365 Sales goes live, and the roadmap includes broader system integrations, content extraction via SharePoint Syntex evaluation, Customer Insights for segmentation, and a Field Service proof of concept for potential backend consolidation.
