In 2017, First Abu Dhabi Bank implemented Oracle Cloud ERP as its ERP Financial backbone to centralize finance, HR, payroll and employee banking services across its regional operations. The deployment focused on payment services, employee level and management level reporting, and localized payroll and regulatory compliance for Saudi Arabia including SAMA and CMA requirements.
The Oracle Cloud ERP implementation included Fusion Core HCM with goal setting and absence management, extensions to seeded SSHR pages, Procurement, Finance, iSuppliers, iExpenses, iRecruitment, Inventory and PMS modules, and work across Oracle Fusion SCM and Oracle Fusion Finance modules. Development work encompassed OAF page development and enhancements, Fusion personalizations, HCM Extracts, HCM Data Loader, BI Publisher and OTBI reporting, Business Approvals Management, Fusion SECURITY roles and profiles, and delivery of HCM reports and HR letters.
Integrations and operational coverage were explicitly scoped for UAE and Saudi entities, including a WPS Project to implement the KSA Central Banking System regulatory product for the Wages Protection System, generation and transfer of WPS salary files to KSA systems, and pages to view employee payslips. The program also delivered VAT controls tied to transaction validation, input and output tax computation, tax invoicing, tax returns filing and MIS reports, and supported a data merger and migration effort combining FGB and NBAD datasets.
Project governance emphasized change control and program cadence, with responsibilities for implementing and managing project changes, policies, procedures and best practices to maintain schedule. Activities included requirement gathering, forecasting, project documentation, liaising between developers and stakeholders, tracking progress against milestones, coordinating change requests, attending CAB reviews with the local delivery team, and testing and deployment of EIT pages to capture employee salary and advance details.

In 2013, First Abu Dhabi Bank implemented Oracle Cloud HCM as its Core HR solution, provisioning the application to support HR operations for a workforce of roughly 7,500 employees. The implementation positioned Oracle Cloud HCM as the central system for talent lifecycle and core HR record keeping across the bank.
Oracle Cloud HCM was configured to include Core HRMS, Absence Management, SSHR and recruitment and performance capabilities through Oracle Taleo Recruitment and Towers Watson Performance Management modules. Functional configuration emphasized standard HR workflows for hire to retire processes, absence tracking, and performance cycle management while accommodating custom enhancements and technical extensions.
Integration architecture relied on Oracle Integration Cloud based connectors to orchestrate data flows between Oracle Cloud HCM, Oracle Taleo Recruitment, and Towers Watson Performance Management, enabling candidate, employee, and performance record synchronization. Operational coverage centered on HR business functions including recruitment, employee records, absence administration, and performance management, with primary execution in Abu Dhabi and bank HR centers.
Governance and ongoing support were organized through an ERP Build Team with a Technical Team Lead providing techno-functional support, enhancements, and operational troubleshooting for all implemented HR modules. The team structure emphasized continuous enhancement, configuration control, and cross-functional coordination between HR domain owners and technical resources.

The deployment positioned Temenos T24 as the central ledger and instruction repository supporting trade lifecycle activities across the bank's custody, settlement, and treasury functions.
Configuration work focused on trade settlement capabilities for Equities, Bonds Fixed Income, T-bills, foreign exchange, and money market instruments, including instruction capture, settlement processing, matching, reconciliation, and exception management. Operational coverage extended to local UAE markets and international currencies such as USD, GBP, EUR, CAD, AUD, HKD, and JPY, reflecting multi‑currency settlement requirements.
Operational governance emphasized timely input and confirmation of instructions on integrated systems, and established exception resolution workflows for follow up and reconciliation with brokers, clients, and market counterparties.
