Configuration work emphasized enrollment management, benefits elections, policy endorsement tracking, claims intake coordination and maintenance of audit ready records, MIS and trackers to support ongoing BAU calendars and seasonal open enrollment events. Operational integrations and handoffs were scoped explicitly with insurance brokers, third party administrators and insurers, and with internal Finance for premium invoicing and remittance. The implementation established routine data sharing of monthly enrollment and endorsement data to insurers and TPAs, and incorporated vendor SOWs and SOPs into the Darwin Benefits operational model to govern invoicing, claims submission through helpdesk workflows and policy endorsement receipt. Governance was structured around weekly, monthly and quarterly stakeholder reviews to enforce SLA and MOU parameters, training for People Office team members, and ongoing collaboration between Benefits leadership, the insurance broker and consultants including Marsh India MMB for renewals. Operational responsibilities documented in SOWs and SOPs included calendar driven enrollment events, invoice and payment sequencing, audit readiness of endorsements and records, and escalation paths for employee queries and claim resolution.
