| Plex Systems | Legacy | Plex ERP | Manufacturing ERP | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 1997 | 1997 |
In 1997 Fisher Dynamics began implementation of Plex ERP, selecting the Plex Systems application to address core Manufacturing ERP requirements. The program was led by the company Director of Lean Manufacturing as project leader, and it was structured as a multi-site conversion spanning six facilities, four manufacturing plants and two stamping plants.
The implementation was organized into two phases, basic modules and advanced modules. Phase one completed software conversion in four US facilities in under six months and included configuration and rollout of functional modules for Production, Materials, Quality, Procurement, Finance, Human Resources and Engineering, with process alignment to establish common policies and procedures across sites.
Phase one next completed installation in a Mexican facility, preserving the common policies and procedures implemented in the US sites. Phase two extended the Plex ERP implementation internationally to Poland and China, reflecting an operational scope that covered domestic and international manufacturing and stamping operations supporting just in time automotive programs.
Governance centered on centralized project leadership, cross functional coordination and intensive planning, requiring work across departments, time zones and language barriers to keep the program on schedule. The deployment emphasized staged software conversions and site installations to separate rapid domestic cutovers from subsequent international rollouts.

The deployment targeted corporate collaboration and communications for Fisher Dynamics, supporting approximately 1700 employees across departments in the United States. The application name Microsoft 365 is publicly referenced on the company website as part of its corporate IT footprint.
Configuration focused on core Collaboration capabilities within Microsoft 365, including cloud email and calendaring, team chat, document collaboration, enterprise file storage and intranet content management. License assignment and workspace configuration were aligned to standard collaboration use cases such as project teams, document versioning and centralized content access.
Operational governance was organized around a centralized Microsoft 365 tenant model with role based access controls, policy driven content retention and administrative delegation to IT. Integrations were established for identity and single sign on, email routing and the company web presence, consistent with the site level reference to Microsoft 365. Governance and lifecycle processes covered user provisioning, license management and onboarding and offboarding workflows to maintain Collaboration controls.

In 2020, Fisher Dynamics deployed Automattic Jetpack CRM on its website to centralize customer-facing contact capture and basic customer relationship management workflows. Fisher Dynamics uses Automattic Jetpack CRM as its CRM to support sales and customer engagement functions across web-initiated interactions.
The implementation emphasizes web-embedded contact capture, centralized contact and company record management, simple pipeline stage tracking, and email communication workflows consistent with CRM functional terminology. Automattic Jetpack CRM was configured to consolidate leads submitted via site forms into a single contact database, apply tag based segmentation for campaign and follow up logic, and maintain organized opportunity records for handoff to field sales or customer service teams.
Operational coverage remains focused on customer facing teams including sales, customer service, and marketing, with administration performed through website administrative controls and CRM user roles. Governance centers on standardizing form to record mappings, contact deduplication rules, and role based access to customer records, with the rollout scoped to the corporate website and integrated site contact flows rather than broader back office systems.
