Configuration emphasis included VAT and tax handling workflows, invoice matching and exception resolution, and provision of structured reporting to support IFRS closing packages.
Operationally the Esker implementation was operated alongside an SAP ERP financial ledger and the BFC consolidation tool, enabling posting of supplier invoices into SAP and feeding reporting packages entered into BFC. The AP solution also aligned with treasury and cash pooling processes, supporting monthly cash flow reporting to the Group, and operated within an environment that included tax software and a treasury system used by the finance team.
Governance centered on supervised invoice validation and tighter month end controls, with the Accounting Manager accountable for review of closing entries, tax return preparation, and coordination with auditors. The program was positioned as a cross functional platform for continued projects such as e invoicing and financial information system improvements, reinforcing process controls across accounts payable, tax, treasury, and consolidation workflows.

The solution fed payroll outputs into the accounting interface and was used to coordinate exchanges with social organizations and external service providers for statutory declarations.
Operational ownership rested with HR and payroll functions, with direct supervision of two payroll and ADP managers charged with monitoring legal obligations and implementing required adaptations. Governance emphasized ongoing compliance management, external service coordination, and the creation of HR and payroll dashboards to support operational visibility.
