The deployment targeted Flagstar's finance and compliance functions and focused on automating alert triage and investigation orchestration, configuring case creation from SAM9 alerts into ActOne for structured investigation processing. NICE Actimize Investigation and Case Management was configured to support investigator assignment, evidence aggregation, case templates, workflow automation, and audit tracking, with an architectural emphasis on centralized investigation workflow and role based access for compliance analysts.
ActOne provided structured investigation workflows and configurable case templates while SAM9 delivered AML detection and alert generation that populated the case queue. Operational coverage was concentrated on AML and fraud investigations within Flagstar's US operations and compliance teams, aiming to reduce investigation time, increase automation, and improve alert handling and investigator workflows. Governance and process changes standardized escalation paths, documentation requirements, and audit trails to align case handling with the new system and regulatory review processes.
