Fortis Healthcare implemented Oracle Cloud ERP in 2020. The rollout targeted ERP Financial capabilities, deploying Oracle Fusion Financials along with SCM and Procurement modules to support core finance, treasury and procurement operations.
The implementation scope at Fortis Healthcare included accounts payable and receivable configuration, journal and open trial balance migration, and master data onboarding. Teams developed Exchange Rates outbound from Fusion to the CARE system using BI Reports, migrated master data including Customer, Customer Accounts, Sites and Site usages using the FBL process, and migrated transactional open trial balance journals from Oracle E-Business Suite into Oracle Cloud ERP. Finance templates and document formats were customized, including accounts receivable standard and credit memo customizations and purchase order template adjustments to meet client requirements.
Integrations executed during the program included EFT e-text template development for multiple payment formats across four banks, with head to head bank connectivity for payments, and an AP invoice interface with exception handling. Operational coverage centered on Finance, Treasury and Procurement departments, with configuration work spanning supplier and customer master records, AP invoice processing, AR invoicing and general ledger journals.
Governance and reporting controls were introduced through a SANDBOX environment used to enforce mandatory data columns and template validations before production cutover. Custom dashboards and multiple OTBI reports were developed using the payable, supplier and receivable subject areas to surface AP invoice exceptions and reconciliation issues, and BI Publisher was used for targeted operational reports and outputs. The program explicitly migrated from Oracle E-Business Suite to Oracle Cloud ERP while instrumenting reporting and payment interfaces to align functional workflows with Oracle Fusion Financials.
