A ReactJS website was developed for Fortress Corporate Accounting to prepare, calculate, and load allocations into SQL Server, while development and version control used Visual Studio 2015, TFS, and WebStorm. The team also redesigned the existing database schema to address business logic issues and improve performance while continuing to support the operational database.
Operational support and governance centered on day to day assistance to front office and middle office users, helping generate adhoc reporting and locating source data. Microsoft Power BI reporting, combined with the redesigned database and SSRS integrations, established a repeatable reporting workflow for accounting and trading functions without introducing external implementation partners.
