In 2018 Framatome deployed Kofax ReadSoft Online to centralize invoice processing under its AP Automation initiative. The deployment targeted Corporate Finance within the SAP Evolutions support center and was delivered with vendor Tungsten Automation.
Implementation work included technical and functional updates to the Readsoft application domain and integration into supplier EDI and a purchasing accounting interface via CB. The configuration focused on invoice capture, validation, routing and automated posting workflows typical of AP Automation while aligning with finance master data and document retention rules.
Kofax ReadSoft Online was integrated with SAP finance modules including NewGL, AA, AR, AP, BL, CO-PA and CO-PCA through coordination with ABAP development teams. The project ran alongside transversal SAP initiatives, notably SAP on HANA and an EHP8 upgrade, to preserve interface compatibility and continuity of finance interfaces.
The rollout and ongoing operations were governed through a structured change request process in the finance domain, acceptance testing with scenarios authored in HPQC, and maintained functional specifications. Operational support included integration and management of TMA Finance for incident resolution and a support run for interfaces such as Concur, Kyriba and Peoplenet.
The Kofax ReadSoft Online implementation at Framatome therefore connected enterprise AP Automation capabilities to SAP finance processes, supplier EDI streams and purchasing accounting interfaces, enabling Corporate Finance to manage invoicing workflows and sustain supportability within the SAP Evolutions support center.
