In 2026 Freshmenu deployed Volopay Accounts Payable as a core AP Automation capability for its finance organization in India. The rollout combined Volopay Accounts Payable Bill Pay functionality with corporate cards to address vendor payments, invoice management and procure to pay automation for the companys accounts payable and procurement teams.
The implementation configured Volopay Accounts Payable to centralize invoice capture, automated approval workflows and scheduled bill payments, while provisioning a corporate card program to reduce ad hoc petty cash disbursements. Functional modules emphasized bill pay orchestration, invoice matching and reconciliation, and spend controls tied to approval routing and card issuance, supporting standard AP Automation workflows and policy enforcement.
Integrations were implemented to synchronize transactional and vendor data with Tally and Zoho, enabling faster audit preparation through aligned ledgers and consolidated payment records. The deployment leveraged Volopay Accounts Payable integrations to ensure vendor payment status, invoice metadata and card transactions flow into the companys accounting systems, preserving audit trails and improving vendor payment tracking across Freshmenus India operations.
Governance changes included centralized spend controls, segregation of duties in approval chains and a shift from manual petty cash reimbursements to card based and automated bill pay processes. Reported outcomes from the project included a 20 to 30 percent reduction in procurement overspend, elimination of petty cash reimbursement fraud and improved vendor payment tracking, supported by the Volopay Accounts Payable AP Automation deployment.
