SCANMAN AP Automation was configured to surface invoice status and exceptions to AP staff, supporting faster decision making and fewer manual touch points. Integration work focused on embedding SCANMAN AP Automation into the JD Edwards ERP instance to align invoice data with procurement and payables records. Operational coverage was concentrated on US wholesale and distribution sites and involved finance and accounts payable teams responsible for vendor payments and discount capture. Governance changes included formalizing electronic approval routing and exception handling processes to replace paper based signoffs, and establishing AP workflows within JD Edwards using SCANMAN AP Automation as the primary invoice processing layer.
