| SAP | Legacy | SAP Concur Invoice | AP Automation | ERP | n/a | 2021 | 2021 |
In 2021 FTC Solar implemented SAP Concur Invoice as an AP Automation solution to centralize invoice and expense processing. The Concur deployment was executed as part of a broader finance systems program that included implementation of the FIS Integrity Treasury Management System and equity management systems, with the Treasury and Risk leader reporting to the CFO overseeing the program.
SAP Concur Invoice was configured to provide core AP Automation capabilities, including supplier invoice capture and imaging, automated invoice routing and approval workflows, PO and invoice matching, and expense automation for corporate card reconciliation. Configuration work emphasized automated workflow routing, GL coding controls, and invoice audit trails to support day to day accounts payable operations and expense administration.
The implementation covered finance, accounts payable, and treasury functions and extended to new legal entities established during the companys banking expansion into Australia, India, China, South Africa and other jurisdictions. The Concur rollout ran alongside the FIS Integrity Treasury Management System and equity management systems to align payables and expense processes with cash forecasting and banking onboarding priorities.
Governance and process restructuring emphasized adherence to internal controls and SOX requirements, integrating invoice approval workflows, segregation of duties, and enhanced audit logging into AP processes. Rollout and operational ownership remained within the Treasury and Finance organization, with configuration and policy mapping aligned to corporate credit card program administration, letter of credit and surety bond oversight, and credit facility compliance.
