| SAP | Oracle E-Business Suite | SAP S/4 HANA | ERP Financial | ERP Financial Management | n/a | 2017 | 2019 |
In 2017 Fujitsu Services UK implemented SAP S/4 HANA as its ERP Financial platform, replacing Oracle E-Business Suite for core finance and procurement processing. The initiative targeted consolidation of transactional procurement, projects and fixed asset processes within SAP S/4 HANA to support professional services delivery across Fujitsu’s UK operations.
The implementation emphasized data extraction and mapping as primary technical activities, with extract scripts and data mapping templates created for purchase orders, fixed assets, projects and project tasks. Functional coverage included procurement workflows, iProcurement and Purchasing capabilities, alongside project accounting and asset financials, aligned to standard ERP Financial controls and master data reconciliation processes.
Integrations and migration interfaces were centered on Oracle E-Business Suite R12 to SAP S/4 HANA data conversion, with explicit execution of ETL style data extraction and transformation from Oracle tables into S/4 HANA structures. The program also intersected with SAP to Oracle Fusion migrations in a crossover governance role for HS2, and supported procurement data migrations for client engagements including Northern Ireland Water, Environment Agency, Defra and RM into single operating platform configurations.
Governance was formalized through an ERP data controller role that established a defect management system and associated resolution processes for cutover and post go live activity. The implementation team reported that extract scripting, data mapping and the defect management workflow materially reduced open issues at go live, leaving only a handful of defects related to post go live adjustments.

In 2021, Fujitsu Services UK deployed CoachHub Digital Coaching, a Digital Coaching application, to introduce an AI-driven coaching marketplace and remote coaching capability for its organization. CoachHub applied an AI matching layer to curate and surface coaches, addressing the marketplace quality challenge that emerged as coaching moved online, and the deployment emphasized remote session delivery and coach selection automation.
The implementation centered on core Digital Coaching capabilities including AI-driven coach matching, coach curation and quality controls, session scheduling and virtual delivery, and participant progress tracking with reporting dashboards. CoachHub Digital Coaching was configured to support coach discovery workflows and coach-client matching rules, while maintaining curated coach profiles to reduce friction in coach selection and enable program scalability.
Operational coverage focused on HR and learning and development stakeholders within Fujitsu Services UK, with the platform positioned to support manager-nominated coaching, talent development cohorts, and leadership development use cases. The deployment narrative highlights use by an organization of approximately 7,300 employees headquartered in the United Kingdom, and aligns the application with people and talent management functions rather than transactional HR processing.
Governance and rollout emphasized centralized program oversight and quality controls, instituting coach vetting and marketplace governance, standardized booking and session management workflows, and alignment of coaching pathways with internal L&D curricula. The implementation narrative indicates an orchestrated operational model that separates coach marketplace curation from program governance, enabling HR and L&D teams to manage participation rules and coaching quality at scale.

| Oracle | Legacy | Oracle OBIEE | Analytics and BI | Analytics and BI | n/a | 2007 | 2007 |
In 2007 Fujitsu Services UK deployed Oracle OBIEE as an Analytics and BI solution to support reporting for the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills. The engagement focused on four data marts and underlying transactional systems, beginning with requirements analysis using user stories to identify transactional databases and data mart boundaries.
The implementation workstream built ETL mappings to populate the data marts, validated data mart design and mapping logic, and created report-level mappings from the data marts. Fujitsu created the Oracle OBIEE repository rpd, authored Oracle BI Answers reports and interactive dashboards, and defined star schemas using foreign key links in the physical layer and complex join keys in the Business Model and Mapping layer.
Configuration and governance tasks included use of the OBIEE Web Catalog to set up groups, access privileges and query privileges, creation of dimension hierarchies, aggregation criteria and multiple logical sources in the BMM layer. The project also delivered unit testing, regression testing of reports, and documentation to support ongoing operational use of Oracle OBIEE for reporting and analytics functions.
Operational coverage emphasized business reporting and decision support for BIS, integrating the new Oracle OBIEE deployment with the four targeted data marts and associated transactional systems. Deliverables comprised the populated data marts, the rpd repository, dashboards and reports, and a tested, documented environment ready for user consumption.
