In 2024, G-Money Financial Services deployed PureSoftware Arttha as a Core Banking application to launch an omnichannel digital wallet and payments platform in Ghana. The implementation targeted increased customer access and higher digital transaction volumes as the strategic objective for the GCB Bank subsidiary.
Implementation concentrated on wallet and payments capabilities, with PureSoftware Arttha configured for wallet account management, payments orchestration, transaction ledgering and settlement workflows consistent with Core Banking deployments. The configuration included channel-aware transaction processing to support mobile, web, agent and USSD access for consumer wallets and payments.
The solution was integrated with the incumbent core banking environment using API-first interfaces to enable account validation, balance checks and posting, and it connected to local electronic payment rails and switch interfaces for collections and disbursements. Operational coverage centered on retail banking and payments operations across Ghana, positioning PureSoftware Arttha as the primary digital wallet payment backbone for customer-facing channels.
Governance introduced centralized transaction controls and revised operational workflows for payments operations, customer onboarding and dispute handling as part of a phased rollout. PureSoftware publicly cited the G-Money Financial Services deployment of PureSoftware Arttha in 2025 as a successful regional Arttha implementation.
