The deployment centered on Oracle Financials within Oracle Cloud ERP, addressing core financial management workflows. Configuration work focused on general ledger structures, accounts payable and receivable processes, accounting period controls, and financial reporting models aligned to aerospace financial operations. Automation of journal processing and reconciliation workflows was implemented consistent with ERP Financial functionality.
Technical delivery used Oracle SQL Developer for schema design, data extraction, and SQL-driven reporting to support the finance team, and included development of ETL scripts and data validations to onboard transactional finance data. The implementation emphasized integration-ready data models and API-capable financial objects consistent with cloud ERP architecture. Operational coverage targeted corporate finance and accounting functions across GE Aerospace.
Governance was structured around finance process standardization, accounting period control, and configuration management to support auditability and close disciplines. The Oracle Cloud Lead Engineer role provided ongoing configuration governance and technical stewardship from January 2023 to present.

Governance emphasized recruiter and hiring manager access controls, requisition approval workflows, and candidate data handling consistent with enterprise hiring practices. Process changes included formalized requisition-to-hire routing in the Applicant Tracking System and defined owner responsibilities for status updates and interview feedback, enabling consistent operational control of recruitment workflows.
