Governance centered on disciplined review cadences, including weekly team meetings, engineering reviews, technical checkpoint reviews, and formal drawing approvals. Processes included coordinated task planning to meet department requirements, documentation of interference impacts, and recommended remediation steps for design conflicts. ANSYS Discovery SpaceClaim supported interference and clearance checks across vehicle models and was explicitly used to document impacts and propose solutions during engineering reviews. The implementation tied 3D Modeling capabilities directly to systems engineering, human factors analysis, and manufacturing support functions within General Dynamics Land Systems.
