| Serrala | Legacy | Serrala FinanceSuite Accounts Payable | AP Automation | ERP Financial Management | n/a | 2012 | 2012 |
In 2012, Georgia-Pacific deployed Serrala FinanceSuite Accounts Payable as an AP Automation solution. The Serrala FinanceSuite Accounts Payable implementation was structured to operate inside Georgia-Pacific's SAP ECC based financial landscape and targeted automated invoice capture, approval workflow orchestration, and invoice posting to the general ledger.
Configuration work addressed core accounts payable capabilities, including supplier invoice processing, matching and exception handling, and workflow routing for approvals. Technical teams developed utilities to create, change, or delete service outline agreements via an Excel upload and download presentation layer, and designed an upload program for pricing conditions that accommodates new condition types to ensure consistent invoice valuation.
Integration work tied Serrala FinanceSuite Accounts Payable into the broader SAP and enterprise integration stack, with explicit package imports into SAP ECC coordinated with Dolphin Team and SAP Basis. The program involved IDOC scenarios for SAP WM sending transfer order messages to ASL and receiving transfer order confirmations back to SAP, EAI function modules to upload data that supports material determination, and a planned integration from JDA to SAP as part of ecosystem alignment, while also addressing custom SAP SD report and performance issues that affect invoice flows.
Governance and rollout practices included offshore technical calls, creation of technical specifications, peer code review, unit testing documentation, and coordination of user acceptance testing for SAP and non SAP issues. Cut over planning and Go Live readiness were supported with cheat sheets for the technical team, defect triage and assignment processes, and active monitoring of transport imports and runtime performance during rollout.

| Circadian Technologies | Legacy | Circadian | Fatigue Management | HCM | n/a | 2021 | 2021 |
In 2021, Georgia-Pacific implemented Circadian as its Fatigue Management application to formalize fatigue risk controls and workforce sleep education across manufacturing operations. The implementation focused on shift scheduling, control room staffing, and frontline production personnel, and it aligned with corporate safety and operations functions to address fatigue-related risk.
The Circadian deployment included physiology-based training programs such as Managing a Shiftwork Lifestyle, a Train the Trainer program, management seminars, and workforce training on sleep and fatigue. Implementation also encompassed alternative work schedule design, staffing level analyses, workload assessments, and comprehensive fatigue risk assessments as components of a Fatigue Risk Management System, configured to support operational scheduling decisions and alertness improvement workflows.
Execution and governance were led by Circadian Technologies' Operations Department with Sam Sirois, Manager of Consulting Services, responsible for development, presentation, and rollout of training, schedule redesigns, and FRMS program elements. Corporate trainers and site safety teams were trained through the Train the Trainer program to sustain local delivery and embed the Fatigue Management practices into HR, operations, and safety workflows across Georgia-Pacific's sites.
Follow-up assessments after implementation reported measurable benefits documented by Circadian including improved employee alertness, improved health and quality of life, reduced accidents, and reduced overall operating costs, outcomes that informed continued governance and training cadence. Circadian therefore functions as an operational safety and workforce scheduling layer within Georgia-Pacific's broader manufacturing risk controls.

| C3.ai | Legacy | C3 AI Process Optimization | Business Process Management | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2023 | 2023 |
In 2023, Georgia-Pacific implemented C3 AI Process Optimization as part of its manufacturing AI initiatives. C3 AI Process Optimization is positioned as a Business Process Management application to extend existing predictive maintenance and manufacturing process knowledge workstreams and to incorporate generative AI augmentation of process documentation and institutional knowledge.
The deployment focused on capabilities common to manufacturing-focused Business Process Management solutions, including process modeling and orchestration, AI-driven process knowledge augmentation, and operational workflow automation. Implementation work inferred from C3 AI descriptions emphasizes augmentation of predictive maintenance models and the generation of process knowledge artifacts to support plant operations and maintenance planning.
Integrations center on operational data and predictive maintenance constructs, with C3 AI Process Optimization consuming plant telemetry, process historian feeds, and outputs from existing predictive maintenance models to create consolidated process knowledge and prescriptive recommendations. Operational coverage targets manufacturing facilities and facilities engineering functions, where the application supplements frontline maintenance technicians and process engineers with synthesized process knowledge.
Governance and rollout were executed through pilot implementations and phased expansion within manufacturing sites, with ownership aligned to central process engineering and operations teams to manage model governance, knowledge curation, and workflow adoption. The work extended Georgia-Pacifics existing predictive maintenance and value creation initiatives by embedding C3 AI Process Optimization into established manufacturing operations and process knowledge practices.
