Oracle Legacy Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne ERP Financial ERP Financial Management Premier Group 2007 2008
In 2007 GL Homes implemented Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne as its ERP Financial system to support growth across its construction and real estate operations. The deployment established a long term platform that has been upgraded and managed over subsequent years to maintain performance and security for roughly 500 employees across corporate functions. GL Homes engaged Premier Group as the system integrator and CNC provider for multiple JD Edwards consulting and administration projects. Workstreams included system administration and CNC governance, periodic platform upgrades, and focused security hardening, all centered on Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne configurations and operational best practices. A targeted integration implemented by Premier enabled LDAP based authentication for JD Edwards, allowing users to authenticate with the same corporate network credentials and eliminating the need to maintain separate passwords for JD Edwards. Premier also executed a security protocol initiative to disable SSL 3.0, TLS 1.0, and TLS 1.1 and to enable current HTTPS protocols across JD Edwards PY and PD environments, aligning the application stack with stronger encryption standards. Operationally this work revised authentication and password management workflows for JD Edwards users and centralized CNC responsibilities with Premier Group support. Explicit outcomes reported include removal of separate JD Edwards passwords for end users and upgraded HTTPS security protocols that reduced exposure to outdated encryption in the specified environments.
