In 2014, Global Atlantic implemented SAP Concur Expense to centralize Expense Management and standardize employee expense reporting across its finance organization. The deployment concentrated on capturing all transactions and sourced documents into SAP Concur Expense, enabling structured expense line items, receipt capture, and consolidated review of submitted expenditures.
Finance teams examined expense reports end to end, validating transactions and sourcing supporting documents before processing them in SAP Concur Expense, and the workflow emphasized timely submission and review to feed downstream budgeting cycles. Operationally this positioned Expense Management as the single system of record for expense data, supporting approval workflows, audit-ready documentation, and ensuring budget numbers were available in a timely manner.

In 2021 Global Atlantic implemented Palantir Foundry as a central Analytics and BI platform to organize multi-domain data models and enable ontology-driven governance for enterprise analytics. The deployment originated from the Indianapolis data engineering organization and was positioned to support fraud detection, operational alerting, and business reporting across data science and backend teams.
Palantir Foundry was configured alongside a Snowflake-centered data fabric, with infrastructure automated using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation to ensure repeatable environment provisioning. The implementation included dbt Cloud for modular ELT, Matillion for targeted extracts, and Power BI dashboards connected directly to Snowflake to deliver secure, role-aware analytics to business users.
Real-time and batch processing capabilities were implemented in parallel, with Apache Flink streaming pipelines integrated with Kafka, AWS S3, and Snowflake for low-latency ingestion and real-time transformation. Batch ETL used AWS Glue, PySpark in Databricks, and Spring Batch orchestrated by Apache Airflow and Autosys, while lakehouse storage patterns employed Delta Lake, Apache Iceberg, and Apache Hudi on S3 following medallion layering.
Governance and operational controls were enforced within Palantir Foundry through ontology-driven data models and standardized transformation logic, while reusable Java and Scala libraries, SOLID-based design patterns, and comprehensive testing with JUnit and ScalaTest supported maintainability. Continuous integration and delivery pipelines were integrated with Jenkins and GitHub Actions, enabling consistent deployments and environment-specific pipelines without prescriptive vendor implementation partners.

Configuration focuses on web embed and session templates to streamline event setup and consistent attendee experiences, using Adobe Connect’s native permission model for host, presenter, and participant roles.
Operationally the Adobe Connect deployment is anchored on the public site for customer facing use cases and is positioned to support marketing led webinars and client servicing events. Governance centers on centralized meeting administration and content control within Adobe Connect, with web content integration to publish registration and recorded assets to the website.
